Thanks for another great video , the Human story is what makes them so interesting . Seems very unfair to die in hospital as I’m sure most men who made it there probably figured they would survive .
It’s a good point. Many did survive, one of my relatives was wounded twice, but many of the military cemeteries from the Great War mark the site of medical facilities.
@@militaryhistorygeek2273 yeah ancestry was good, I did find some stuff like an army record which said he was in A company I think, and it also found his gravestone and location in France. I stopped paying for the membership though.

Thanks for uploading this. I suppose it is safe to say my great uncle was injured in Arras in early-mid April and then died on the 17th in hospital
I agree that is the most likely. Have you tried searching websites like Ancestry for his details?
