Nice information indeed. I wish you create a Bim level 2 project so that we can better understand how the construction industry can evolve any project into a process. Thanks and regards

Hi Naseeb. That's a great idea! I will start making some hands-on practical videos soon.

@@builtevolvechannel8870 that will be very helpful because in whole TH-cam there is no such videos that provide a complete project video using BIM process. I hope your struggles will be highly appropriated if you make a complete project so that we can understand the complete concept of standards, cde, Bim execution plan, and soooo many other related things to BIM.

Hello, It's a very beautiful explanation! Helped me understand in a very simplified manner. Thank you for that!
Also, a small request if you can make a video explaining the BIM maturity Stages and Layers as per ISO 19650. Thanking you in advance 😁
Keep up the amazing work! 💙

Forexample if we have an infrastructure and we want to deliver this project adopting Bim instead of traditional way of delivering projects. The question here is that how we can start a project in Bim process i mean to say that how a designer will start bim how stack holders will start and many other related individuals will participate in this bim project. Who will involve in bim process. Sorry my English is not enough strong to explain what I want to ask but I hope you will got the point. Thanks for your efforts about bim technology

Great comment! Thanks, Naseeb. I will cover this topic. In short, there is BIM theoretical knowledge and understanding, BIM software skills and BIM-related contractual documents and standards in a project. I will try and bring them together in a video.

    Very beautiful explanation 💞
I have to questions please :)
-Can you advise me how i can strengthen myself in BIM free cause i can't afford the paid deploma?
    - can i get the PDFs or slides for the topics you explain in TH-cam videos so i can keep it for study in BIM field

Hi Moataz, thanks for the positive feedback. I can't share the pdfs but there are so many online resources available through various BIM-focused websites that can help you improve your knowledge in the subject area. Check these following websites:
      UK BIM Framework www.ukbimframework.org/standards-guidance/
      UK BIM Alliance www.ukbimalliance.org/
      BIM WIKI www.designingbuildings.co.uk/wiki/BIM_Wiki

I am creating an EIR for a nuclear power plant just for a practice. So which PAS 1192 or ISO 19650 i need to refer, So that I can prepare a BIM Level 3 EIR for guidance

ISO 19650 is the latest standard that we should refer to. For the delivery phase of the project, ISO19650 Part 2, and for the operational phase, ISO 19650 part 3. Take a look at ISO 19650, Guidance B on www.ukbimframework.org/standards-guidance/
This is another video on BIM standards:

Wasn't this maturity diagram and terminology retired upon the release of the UK BIM Framework and ISO 19650? Maturity Levels in this form should now not be used? PAS 1192-2 which this comes from has been withdrawn from circulation. Nice presentation style however.

Many thanks for the very valid comment. I used maturity levels in this video to explain the meaning behind BIM levels. You are absolutely right. However, PAS 1192 is the backbone and basis of ISO19650. Thanks again for the point you made and have a nice day!

Hi Vishnu, great question. There are not " many" resources about Level 3 BIM as the concept is relatively new and not fully implemented in the industry. But, let me share some useful links/ resources with you:
      CDBB Level 3 strategic plan:

If the link did not work try to find "Digital Built Britain Level 3 Building Information Modelling -Strategic Plan".

Can you please show it practicaly

Hi Omar, when you hear that some company needs a person who is familiar with BIM level 2 or 3. BIM maturity is more reflected into research than industry practice (and is not mentioned in the later BIM standards).
