Hard to say, if you want an insanely fast the pad the BEAST is great, if you want something more controlled might be worth waiting for the HANA or get that audio setup!
@mel0nFPS Well, the reason why I'm not interested in the hana is because it's slower than my kazemi, and I personally can't justify $150 for just the pad. I played some kovaaks today and performed slightly better on my speed v2 compared to the kazemi, and I think I prefer cloth more overall even though it slows down over time. For audio I'm using my mom's old gaming headset that she bought for the mic since it's more comfortable to me than my pair of zero reds even though the sound is way worse and I had to swap the ear pads so the headset was better.
Sucks that this is sold out. I feel like it might be a bit small though (and most glass pads for that matter,) if the goal of a high speed low friction pad is to have a higher CM/360, then only having 50 cm of lateral movement (or about 67 if you rotate it 45 degrees) forces the user to lift the mouse more.
Thinking about getting this pad or the Hana, might go for the Hana since I got the sp004 for speed, also good review appreciate the skate compatibility
I did try it with the Cyclones! They felt pretty good, a little louder than the Obsidian Air or the included skates, but similar in terms of their performance.
@@mel0nFPS Hey, may i ask how's the cyclones's durability & speed? I noticed that you didn't have a review on them (at least afaik) despite them being (at least somewhat) popular & i'm not sure whether i should grab them or uhmwpe obsidians for my sp-004
Thank you for the video ! i tried looking for a review of the sp004 but couldnt find one, could u tell me the difference between them in terms of speed please ?

Great review Melon! You actually inspired me to get into the review space. I wanted to ask if you think this pad still performs very fast even on stock PTFE skates, and doesn't bring a sticky feeling which I see on the likes of the SP-004. Additionally, based on your description under the video, will the Hana be more controlled compared to the beast, and have that same control glass feeling, or will it be focused towards speed? Also, do you play Bad Business, haha?
Hey! On the SORA V2 stocks it preformed fine, little more controlled due to the larger skates, but still very fast, I think using the included silver fox skates would be the best and fastest experience though. In regard to the Hana, it's leaning more on the Balanced-Control side of the spectrum, similar to the LockOn HERUT but with some slight differences. Not playing much BB sadly, performance has been awful since so I haven't bothered playing.
Best review, thanks! Can you say about your testings of Hana. Is it slower or faster than Harut? I think i want pad with low dynamic friction but with high static, so no floaty and nice ability to stop, but fast for tracking. Any chance Hana this one?
@@mel0nFPS thanks anyway, man. Your review for the beast rly best. One question. Do you tried Vancer thrash with x-raypad pro air on this pad? Im intrigued will be this controllable for you in this combination. May be even endgame?😅
@@Boogeymanjwyeah, i saw that review multiple times, but i dunno now. Used to playing with very high sensitivity so quite excited for this one. Pre-ordered one.
Now when someone wants a air hockey table, IK what to recommend!
I can’t wait for it to get delivered so I just keep watching reviews 😂
still can't decide if i need this pad more than some better audio

Will the ionized surface coating eventually wear out?
No, surface is fully bonded like the KAZEMI and AKARI's surfaces, won't wear unless you use glass or gem skates on the surface.

Hana will be much more on the balance-control side of the spectrum, so it'll perform very differently from the 004 & BEAST.
Have you tried the beast with ghost glide cyclones? Hows the feedback/performance?

So, it's undoubtedly faster than the sp-004? I just may need to grab this. I'm moving in a week. Praying there's still units after
It's the fastest pad I've personally tested, don't have an 004 to compare it to but I have a 3.0 and it's significantly faster than that
