I’ve been knitting for many years and I don’t think a beginner could understand these directions I found it very confusing . You’re knitting was rarely in camera shot and instructions vague and fast. You will get better if you slow down a little in order for the viewer to follow along. The hat is lovely and I will finish mine for a gift.
Thank you so much for your feedback, it is rather difficult to both knit, explain and make sure you are constantly in shot but practice makes perfect 😉 I hope my upcoming videos are more helpful 🤞🏻
Thank you for your feedback! Yes, there is a way to make the back part of the bonnet more fitted to the head 🤗 I will try and film it and upload it soon!!
You have to knit a sample patch first. If you watch my first video (the red romper) I explain how to calculate at the beginning, hope this helps. If not, feel free to drop me a DM. 😊
If you press the description arrow (little triangle under the title) a blue link pops up and it takes you directly to the written pattern and the size list, 9-12 months is approx. 92sts and 12-18 months 97sts. Hope you can follow the pattern easily! 💞💞
Girl. You need to slow down a bit for beginners.. Just by reading the comments, I am afraid to start a project where there is a possibility I wouldn't be able to finish it like others. I hope you can recreate a new video with better and clearer instructions.
Thank you for your feedback. I know and I have taken this into account. It isn't that easy to film, knit and explain but hopefully in my upcoming videos I will be better ☺
I managed to follow the pattern without any problems until I got to the frill. On the video, you jumped from row 2 to row 5 not saying what to do for rows 3 and 4. I repeated rows one and two but seemed to end up with way way too many stitches so undid it all. Also I agree with others that you are not always in view of the camera or the camera is blurred. Beautiful little boonet though that I would love to finish.
I'm sorry it's not as easy as you think to film and explain etc... I will try and film another video explaining in detail how to create a frill although as you say, you do end up with over 200 stitches
Seen as I am pretty busy at the moment and not sure when exactly I will have the time or energy lol (I'm in my third trimester of pregnancy and it is hottt 😫) I'll leave you here another video I found on TH-cam where it shows how to make one. Hope it helps! If you have any questions be sure to let me know or even message me on Instagram (@peekabooknitting) I'd love to be able to help you out! 😉

Thank you for your feedback!

How do you make neck more fitted?
I love this bonnet!!! Thank you
Cute little bonnet. Love it. What weight is the yarn please,I guess I missed it when you told us. Thank you. 🏴🇨🇦❤️
Thank you so much! My yarn is 100% cotton and 4 ply 😊❤
Thank you.
Your welcome, hope you enjoy! 😊
When you do the decreasing and down the work after you count 24 stitches in the center do you need to together from the 24th to the 25th?
Correct, you knit together the end stitches and you should always have the same 24 center stitches.. good luck, hope this helped🤞🏼
Thank you! I'm gonna knite my second piece of it. ❤
Amazing! So happy you like it! 🤗🤗
What do you mean by skipping the first stitch on every row except the one?
To make a neater looking edge thats easier to sew up, I slip the first stitch knitwise on every row except the first row 😊 hope this helps!
hi, please, I would like you know what gauge you achieve, so I can adapt my gauge to the pattern?
If I’m using finer yarn what the gauge in centimeter for every 10 stitches? Or the measurement of the hat for height and width?

@@peekabooknitting thank you looking forward to see the video.
How did you get to 8.05 please, it looks completely different?
As I explain in the video, you have to cast off one stitch at either side until you only have the centre stitches on your needle 😊 hope you understand
Thank you, as I’m doing it I’m beginning to see how it works ❤️ This is so pretty!
How do you make the TWISTED CORD?
Never mind. Found it!
Is there a link for a written version of this pattern?
Hi! Yes, you can find the written pattern in my blog (link in bio) and hopefully by next year I will have downloadable patterns available too 🤗

I am sorry, I will film a separate video explaining it in more detail and get it up as soon as possible!
Francais
I'm sorry, I don't know how to add subtitles in other languages 😢
Please do the cords
I will!
I printed the pattern and have done it exactly to the instructions, but there are no instructions for knitting the frill.
Sorry, I'll make a more specific frill pattern asap 😅
@@peekabooknitting Thank you!
