    A little about me:
Sean Daniel is a man. A man of simple needs and desires. And the one desire, no, the one NEED, that stands above all is to spread the challenges, joy and intellectual stimulus of music to people of Earth and beyond.
Born on the mean streets of upper middle class suburban Chicago, Sean learned the ways of the world through the dizzying heights of success to the lonesome depths of failure and emerged with the promise of a better tomorrow reflecting in his eyes and fiery passion in his belly.
He plays and teaches guitar on his TH-cam channel where he regularly releases original music and projects to the adulation of legions of fans, who often compare him to Chris Pratt and one time Ryan Reynolds. He’s currently in the market for a nice leather jacket.

Sean, do you have any videos/courses for begginers? I'm stuck on beginning...always over and over. I think some basics have been left out by teachers in the past, who, not dissimilar to you, know their craft so well they forget about the issues common with slow bloomers. Many thanks, love your vids but would really like to know what the hell you're talking about.

I've been working on figuring this out and you just made it clearer. Also, you can use the G form for the I, IV & V chords in G, then expand using the C-form and D-form. There's about a years worth of beginner self-learning progress right there. Thanks for helping me out.

Shapes! I recently tuned one of my guitars to 4ths. Raising the treble B and E to C and F. Now a C triad played from the C on the E string fret 8 is the same shape as a C triad from the C on the G string fret 5! And it’s the same shape from any C on the guitar. Ditto for the shapes of triads starting on the 3rd or 5th. If you tune a 7 string with a low B, you now have all the C Major scale notes played open! This tuning works very well for 7th chords, so you may find it convenient for your favorite chords as well. Thanks for the lesson, hope you find time to play with this tuning.

I wish the hell you folks would quit using the word 'hack' in your tittles.. Hack is a programmers term and 'only' applies to computers. I find the folks who use the term as 'click bait' turn out to be hacks themselves.. Bottom line you made a good video that did not need the term 'hack', it stood on the merits of the maker.

    • @jamiebriggs8277

Sorry Kelly, but the word programmer means:
      programmer (n.)
1890, "event planner," agent noun from program
And it 'only' applies to planning events prior to electricity, so I wish you folks would stop using it in reference to computers.
      Furthermore, computer means:
      computer (n.)
1640s, "one who calculates, a reckoner, one whose occupation is to make arithmetical calculations," and 'only' applies to people, so I wish you folks would stop using it in reference to your electronic devices.

Two points: 1: That riff is the basic melody of one of the sweetest ballads ever: In a Sentimental Mood by Duke Ellington. 2: I know you love it, and probably got it for free, but that Taylor is one ugly-ass guitar; right up there with the Ovation. If someone gave me that Taylor, I'd play it, but with a bag over my head, even if I was a Brown-Eyed Handsome Man like yourself.
