Really enjoyed the build. It's a shame that they do not ship their kits to Canada, so this video series is as close as I will every be to the kit. Thankfully Pocher sells the 917 in Canada. Cheers.
Finished mine about 3 weeks ago. Your driver side door fits exactly the same as mine where the #6 decal is slightly out of alignment. Kind of wish they had us do the decals so we could ensure they are lined up perfectly. Overall a good model and looks great. I don't open and close the rear engine cover as it will eventually chip off the orange paint on the little tab, so just be careful if you're opening and closing it a lot.
Nice build of a very nice car Wayne. I would still liked to have seen it the black livery to compliment the Porsche. But that's just me. One thing though, the GT is not a rally car, it's a sport's car. It 's a track racer, not a dirt/ gravel racer. But hey.
Maybe it's the way the video was edited, but you appeared rushed? Great ending to another fabulous model! From what I saw though I think you need to do some wire tidy in the rear?
Great build. What's next to build for the future because I fancy a Airline build which it could be Concorde or one of my favourite airlines the Airbus a320.
Another excellent build and very enjoyable to watch. Tell me though….. are the Deagostini kits a poorer quality than the Agora kits. They look it to me but obviously I don’t have them in front of me to compare.
I've built both Agora and DeAgostini (Fanhome) and I can say that the quality is the same. The difference is what Agora has over DeAgostini. In my humble opinion, Agora is the better company.
Thank you. The Agora kits look more appealing and with what looks like much better detail. Compare that GT40 with the 300 SL that Wayne has just finished for instance.
@@WorldofWayneUKAnd exactly how would you go about doing so Wayne without damaging the finish and/or alignment of the contiguous panels? My 1/8 Pocher F40 that l built 30+ years ago (still have it) required bulder installation of all waterslide decals, and although it was a time consuming labor intensive process to cut each one from its sheet, and nerve racking since there was only one shot at getting it right, at least they were applied and aligned to my satisfaction. But I do realize the Pocher was, and the DeAgostini is, targeted for different audiences and levels of model-building ability (and acceptability of what the completed product looks like given the price point). But I think your GT turned out very nice overall, congrats! 👍
( igual me expliqué mal ) . Lo que quiero saber es si tú has notado algo de eso. Yo ya monté el Porsche 917kh y es impresionante como queda ( me sirvió de mucho tu guía. Muchas gracias!!
With respect of course I cannot agree this is a good one for beginners - if I may kindly link mine explaining exactly why th-cam.com/video/PBgaNhWzKEY/w-d-xo.html (sorry my audio clarity is not a patch on yours) - UNLESS they've changed those tyres in this run versus the original run that I did, this was almost as bad as the Ferrari F40. 🫣😨

Marvelous!!!!

Lovely car love the finishing touches
Wayne, your build came out great. I really enjoy building that model too. It is really one of my favorite partwork car builds that I’ve done.👍
Wayne that car looks really cool. You have done a great job on this one.
It is a beautiful build. For really got this sprite 1615
Great job. Looks very nice.
😎Very nice have enjoyed this build from day one👍👍.
I'm done finishing the gt40
Gorgeous car. Another one bites the dust then. This needs to be displayed with the Porsche.

Off topic question.
Does anyone know when the AGORA MODELS Optimas Prime base is being sent out?
Great job and build 🙏💪💪🍺🍺💞💞👍👍🐕🐕
Over a year to build!

It's because ive always known it as the lemans rally

It was edited hard as I try to keep the vids to 20 min . Hard on this one
Great build. What's next to build for the future because I fancy a Airline build which it could be Concorde or one of my favourite airlines the Airbus a320.
I got to work on the a320 and was taxi qualified on the a320
@robertduball4605 nice one and that is probably one of the best experiences you have had.
I am still waiting for stage 71 but I have all the way stage 93
It might be a trick of the eye but it doesn’t look like the numbers on the doors match with the panels underneath them
They are slightly off
Brilliant build but would love to know the total cost before i ever tried one
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍
That body work was so much easier than Kitts.
I didn’t realise but a GT 40 came in the rally car spec?
Lol. I meant lemans
Another excellent build and very enjoyable to watch.

I haven't noticed so
well that great if that’s the case.

Rear of finished model doesn't match photo in the magazine, (too many holes) looks like it's missing a panel.
And this is any easy one for beginners...🤫
The number 6 on doors not lined up.
I'm.sure if I bent the door a little it would be

4:44 Great car, but I've never seen GT40 used as a Rally car.
I was meaning lemans

Never had that issues check the last stage in the playlist

Wayne did you call this a rally car. Far from it this is a race car that raced in the 24 HR LeMans series. No way this could perform in a rally.
Yer it's cause I always called it the lemans rally
very bad quality for the money..
