This happened near me. Her poor Mom. She's lost her husband, her daughter, and still don't have her remains. I swear she's under the roadway/house that they bought before she died. The neighborhood was not developed, nor was the roadway yet, but the land was there. If She's not there, she's somewhere on that family farm. These brothers are involved in another cops murder, Crystal's father murder, and the Lord knows what else, in my opinion. I hope her family finally gets the closure they deserve. ❤
My daughter lives in Bardstown (Kentucky). The Houck family is evil. There are five murders somehow intertwined. This guy’s former police officer brother killed crystal’s father. Crystal found out Brook’s was involved in fraud and evading taxes with his properties business. Most of the players are now in jail, but nothing is finished yet. It’s been almost ten years.
I’m only halfway in and not familiar with this case, but this guy is amazingly calm (almost too calm), and his mannerisms indicate he’s open to the questioning which is odd under these circumstances, especially for someone who has killed their partner. While, he may be a psychopath who feels superior enough not to be concerned over being questioned, and he’s also incapable to having any empathy or compassion for anyone else, his ultimate breakdown is so real it feels genuine. Quite honestly, I hope like hell I’m never put in this position, because it feels like a “damned if you do or damned if you don’t” position; if you’re too emotional it’s suspect & if you’re too calm it’s suspect. Also, when I met my husband I was shocked at how little communication he had with his children & extended family despite being close and how infrequently he contacted me..no unnecessary calls just to say hi or check in…none of that. And he had a hard time adjusting to my frequent calls to talk to my parents, friends, and son. To this day, it’s normal for him to take a short trip and not reach out to let me know he arrived safe, etc. It really used to bug me but now it’s normal, as weird as that sounds. And, even though my husband is extremely sentimental and kind, he is an extra-introvert, highly educated retired Naval Commander who served in Vietnam, so he keeps a tight control over his emotions and when he’s under stress, his logic supersedes his emotions. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he reacted identically to this guy. He would respond calmly and rationally to questions to the best of his ability, uncomfortable with expressing his feelings of fear or sadness to anyone, particularly another guy. So, while this guy’s lack of contact with Crystal and his relatively calm and relaxed demeanor may seem suspect, I know for a fact that it doesn’t necessarily indicate guilt. On the opposite end of the spectrum; I’m an EXTRA-extravert and extremely empathetic and emotional. If questioned, I’d be an emotional wreck & talking non-stop, sharing everything that popped into my head regardless of its relevancy, without a single filter! Okay…back to the video!
At no point he asked why they aren't searching for his girl instead of questioning him. He never got upset or frustrated thinking that his wife is in danger and this is a time waste. He also never got upset by that obviously the officer is suspecting him. Nothing is normal in his behavior, if you ask me.

@8:26 he refers to her/them in past tense. "Loved her" meaning at time of interview he doesn't anymore or she is (in his mind) already of the past while maintaining they always got back together. What makes him refer to her/their love in past tense already? Unless he knows she passed. Initially the investigator asked him to do something but he acted as though he couldnt then told investigator to do it tor him. He had no problem making an authority figure subservient to him which is antisocial. When they said her car was located notice he didn't ask where but who located it(he knew where it was he wanted to 1:03:14 know who could have led authorities there) he wanted to make sure his accomlice didnt get caught. If your wife has disappeared and her car is located surely you would want to know where so you could helpt figure why she could have gone there. When investigator said "since you were the last person to see her alive" he failed to correct him to say no she migt still be alive, and failed to say if she was taken thats who saw her alive last not me. His failure to be innocent didnt make him react as an innocent. If you are innocent your mindsetbis set to respond as such naturally. He failed this test. Every question he asked every comment he made had end goals. I feel he did it, i cant explain otherwise how i know, but i know. And he was cocky because he likely got his cop brother in on it (thinking he got the upper hand). All he did in this room seemed orchestrated, rehearsed or both. During interview he managed to make the lawn mower (his mom) sound silly, claiming somewtimes she mowned it when it wasnt needed. Women (in his mind) are second rate. He has no respect but disdain for them. I know he did it. Sometimes admissions come off as omissions. Everything he omitted should be viewed suspiciously. Misleading and redirecting narratives were part of it. He needed to be interviewed by multiple investigators , he was not pressed on, as if someone had interest making sure his feelings wouldnt get hurt. Did anyone from above make sure he got preferential treatment?
ive seen loads guilty people get interviewed, and innocent people too. this dude & his brother dont seem guilty to me. ive watched every second, of both brothers interviews, and nothing in them indicates guilt of any kind. the closest thing is a ridiculous lie detector scammer trying to sell the legitimacy of the test to the brother, like a used car salesman trying to sell a 1984 honda civic to a buyer. if these brothers are guilty, their guilt is not demonstrated in any video publicly available, its that simple. i have no feelings in either direction, i just go off truth & the truth is i see no guilt

Don't even try to count how many times he said I, I'm, and my. 🤡
Nobody will know exactly what happened..
ive seen loads guilty people get interviewed, and innocent people too. this dude & his brother dont seem guilty to me. ive watched every second, of both brothers interviews, and nothing in them indicates guilt of any kind. the closest thing is a ridiculous lie detector scammer trying to sell the legitimacy of the test to the brother, like a used car salesman trying to sell a 1984 honda civic to a buyer. if these brothers are guilty, their guilt is not demonstrated in any video publicly available, its that simple. i have no feelings in either direction, i just go off truth & the truth is i see no guilt
His speech pattern is driving me nuts. Whiny voice and gaslighting.
well what was the secret evil?
