    Hi,
    This is very useful, but I have one question.
    What if I want to filter data to view only cells that are not highlighted??

    • @TEKNISHA
      @TEKNISHA  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can filter using the helper column (1 for highlighted and 0 for not highlighted) , but you can do this only 1 table at a time

    what can be done if we have to criterias, like checking both reference no. and amount to know which entry is missing or not???? Can countif or countifs be used in such cases???

    • @TEKNISHA
      @TEKNISHA  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, it will be a Multi step process. You need to first make a helper column where you need to concatenate the reference no. and amount. Similarly in the other table too you need to make this helper column. And then you can use the count if formula shown in this method to check for the missing items in the helper column of both tables.

    Thank you its good but still i need more thing to solve my issue i also want to compare two column with two column so total 4 number of column to tally. • @chyrsaberry
    @chyrsaberry 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Hi, instead of 0,1 is it possible to reflect as True / False instead since I do not intend to hide the columns.

    • @pessimistic5579
      @pessimistic5579 ปีที่แล้ว

      =IF(COUNTIF(range, criteria)>0,"TRUE","FALSE")

    Does it work on a structured table?
    Can I use it on different sheets of the same workbook in the case of a large data?

  • @irynasavchenko91

    Thank you! May someone explain to me why do we need to freeze the range of Order Numbers here? I've only previously dealt with frozen individual cells, but it is the first time when I see the whole range gets frozen.

    • @andrewburns722
      @andrewburns722 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You don’t need to freeze, it’s actually called an absolute reference. By adding the $ signs before, you are telling the program to continue to reference that column or row!

    Hi, it was very helpful thanks. However let's say 266 price has 1 lot in Table1 n 2 lot in Table2 how would u find out ?

    • @TEKNISHA
      @TEKNISHA  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great that this helped you. Reconciling should be done based on value only if it is unique, else you need use a unique identifier (like order number in this case)

    way too fast and the transition from deleting cells, to undoing and deleting and adding wasn't explained on how.

    • @TEKNISHA
      @TEKNISHA  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Alisha, thank you for the feedback. undoing can be done using keyboard shortcuts. “ctrl+z” (for PC) or “CMD+z” (for Mac).
