Thank you. Very helpful! That "trowel" is actually a drywall knife to be found in the drywall tools section at big box stores :)
My layetex molds did not come with an outter hard case for support. Can I use sand as support?cool skull indeed.

This is just fascinating and I need to go back to see your other videos on actually making the mold. What I want to do is create life-like statues of historical people (Past Presidents or Generals). Is it even possible to do something like that?
