Your attention to detail is off the richter scale. I love your workshop videos - i've enjoyed every bit. Thanks Howard for your efforts and good luck for Motorex.
S After watching your process on building this car right from the start I’m still amazed at what you and the team have created Howard,I do hope to get to Motorex next year but unfortunately not this year as I’d have loved to have seen this car in the flesh.Goos luck
When you are at Motor Ex. Peter Robinson & Peter Axford & Gang are gonna have a awesome Mad Max display on. Hopefully you can get some footage & interview with em.
An absolutely exceptional car…The thought, planning, fabrication, craftsmanship and attention to detail that’s gone into it is bloody awesome to have witnessed through these videos… Your truly a Master Howard👏👏👏…
A masterpiece of a car. Thanks for showing the unbelievable next-level mods and detailing that went into this. You could probably go on for more hours showing more and more extra touches that went into it, and the decision making behind this - would be a good video to watch. And I love how you merged all the FG gear into this, seamlessly. It's kind of hard to believe your eyes when the driver's door is opened and there's the FG interior.
as always your work is breath-taking Howard. thank you for sharing this journey with us. Please take the time to check out Danny Probert's work from Xdrift industries on his independent rear suspension for early fords. Its far superior to the old Jag rear end and would have been an incredible addition on a build like this.
Its looks great and its had an amazing amount of work done to it BUT Did anyone else notice the amount of play in the rear suspension @25min mark when going from drive to reverse. I know it's currently show car but obviously it's going to be driven and that's not right . Might need a rethink on the bushings and/or type of bushings or control arms.
Don't want to insult you mate but I think not having your name on the steering wheel would be better. Not a fan of inscriptions etc.. on seats and that sort of thing. Just think the wheel needs some rethinking. Other than that it's beautifully done inside ands out.
I love that its a 4 door too. such an aussie thing. if it was an american or english muscle car theres no way they would have done a 4 door. US aussies love the sedans.
Your work is impeccable but I just don’t like these cars with chrome rims and shiny engine bays. They seem like anachronisms. But this is no reflection on you of course. Great work.
You are getting worse Howard!!!! Your attention to detail is off the charts - perhaps a medical condition? Looking forward to seeing you at Motorex brother!

Take a look at the end when the car was moving. Looks like the rear wheel had movement back & forth when going in gear.
Will do
taking a day or two between jobs is very important, specially on a job of this scale. I get it %100. love your work and vids mate.
When you are at Motor Ex. Peter Robinson & Peter Axford & Gang are gonna have a awesome Mad Max display on. Hopefully you can get some footage & interview with em.
Will try and catch them
I love it how it's got a late model falcon interior. Not easy!
So true
Great job Howard. Hopefully more trophies coming Boss XC’s way (and a well deserved rest for you) 😊
Much appreciated!
I can't wait to see it at MotorEx, i'm sure i will be blown away with the detail this car has to offer. see you there.
I hope it lives up to you expectations
Even after watching the build series, it's hard to believe the work that went into the build when looking at the end result.
Cheers mate

Beautiful car and beautiful work. Is it just me or does the rear wheels move back alot when the car is placed into reverse?
Something for the Mechanic’s to work on
Amazing car, more so without the front spoiler.
That one polarised thing on the car.
Absolute master craftsman. Sensational work and outcome. Applauding your commitment to creating the best of the best. Cheers
Thank you very much!

Those centre caps are a master-stroke .. a small flat surface against many round shapes adds plenty .. huge effort indeed.
Good luck Howard & team.

@@AstillDesign is this Car for a Customer..??? or do you build them and then sell these cars ???
Wow good job grand champion level now
Cheers mate
Dents, after you blocked the car???
Just some minor marks from the last 2 years since it was painted
When did you delete the front spoiler, and why? Stunning car.
WE havent, it is removable, Peter can run it not. His choice
Zorans dent removal is a magician took out creased dent on my 18 mustang on the worst area
He sure is
Looks amazing, should grind back and polish the brake master cylinder for additional points. Outstanding car.
Always something

Be cool to see a FG interior go into the van Howard 👌
Not a chance, XC all the way
@@AstillDesign haha go on 😆

That was something Peter the owner requested.

I think the Castle quote would be fitting. lol
time for break, you were exhausted just trying to put the key in the boot
You ought to see me know after 2 days here
Your work is impeccable but I just don’t like these cars with chrome rims and shiny engine bays. They seem like anachronisms. But this is no reflection on you of course. Great work.
It’s a bit like me not liking black wheels and engine bays
Hey Howard will this be at the Hot rod & custom show in Rosehill this year?
It's not entered at this point
America has Steve Strope and the Ring Brothers but we have the best the very very best ,say hello to Howard Astill
Thanks for the compliment
WHO IS PAYING FOR ALL THIS, CUSTOMER OR IS THIS PART OF YOUR SERVICE?
Its a customer car,
You are getting worse Howard!!!! Your attention to detail is off the charts - perhaps a medical condition? Looking forward to seeing you at Motorex brother!
All good mate, clean bill of health
That car has its chance last year! If it doesn't win, it shows it was rigged
Top 6 again, not bad for an old has been
Why would you spend that much money on a Xc it would've been better on the xa killer looking
Clearly the owner likes XC’s
Either an XC or an FG, not both...🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢
You seem to be in the minority on that one.
