Dapper: *Shaves 7 seconds off time, then proceeds to not use the last shortcut.*
Also Dapper: "I Can't believe that didn't shave off more time."
He was not fast enough to make the last jump for the 4th shortcut.
@William Muller he had plenty of speed. 100 at the bottom of the ramp, he literally just needed to turn right, and plop down onto the final decent.
EDIT: 100 was what he was doing when he made the last shortcut the first time. He just forgot.

I'm pretty sure if you take the fourth one Dapper showed, then you can't take the third one. Turning around and taking that shortcut means you are never on the track where the third shortcut is.
@@greybeard5123 But you're wrong about that. He did 2 shortcuts in the beginning, then showed the new shortcut which is the "last" one we knew about, but then he didn't do the shortcut right at the end.
So you can do all 4 shortcuts in a single run, but dapper simply didn't use the one at the end on his last full run for no apparent reason.
@@greybeard5123 the ramp shortcut feeds directly into the final shortcut, he just didn't take it for some reason
pretty sure he just didn't want a cheap win since nobody else figured that one out.
Not doing a run that hits all the shortcuts hurt me physically.
So painful watching him forget to take the final shortcut at the end. I think he was tired.
After seeing how open this track is, I had the idea that
it would be really cool if the 'shortcut' involved jumping from path to path and essentially doing every checkpoint in the wrong order
That would be a cool idea.
This is not it though, this one still took the checkpoints in order.
Hope he makes something like this.

Your half-pipe turn around shortcut was definitely faster, but you missed the 4th shortcut near the finish which is why you had +4sec time. If you made it, it'd be about -5sec, so a 1:07:???.
dapper makes top tier tracks.. its just that he doesn't do the esthetics much. love your stuff dapp!!

This is my favorite Dapper track where the "cheese" is just finding the ultimate path and skill to perform it.

As the first sub 1:40 I'd like to say this track was a lot of fun, but I never got a smooth transition off the giant ramp, and never got all the cuts. Thanks for making my first day on Zeepkist fun! :) (also pretty sure my time didn't get better.)
Half pipe cut was slick, I knew it had to be something with the half pipe because it was useless otherwise, but would have never guessed that was how

I wqs all "Come on guys, maybe there is no cheese, there are too many checkpoints, and maybe it's just skill" and then literally right after that I am watching people go up an invisible wall. "Welp."
Dapper could break everyones mind by making a track that looks like it has a ton of shortcuts, but doesn't have any
I really liked this track because it made it feel like more of a puzzle to figure out where the shortcuts were using photomode

I happily downloaded the map and found all the shortcuts before watching the video
You could make a track with really obvious shortcuts like with intangible and invisible blocks but they don't actually lead anywhere and then name the track like "where are they?" Or "where are the shortcuts" and then everyone will just drive into walls trying to find shortcuts that don't actually exist. You could also add a really secret shortcut so you get a quick time and everyone will believe you
When I saw how low some of those Checkpoints were I was sure one of the shortcuts was going to be flying through a Checkpoint from below the track, but I guessed wrong 😆
dapper needs a camera on the back of his soapbox car so if no one is behind him, then hje can do a cheese

You should reveal the full shortcut with some time on the clock left, like 3 min. on maps like this so people have a chance to enjoy it! And optimize it a bit too

Yes, shortcuts are always best hidden when there is a lot of checkpoints...
Dapper you forgot to do the fourth and final shortcut at the very end and that's why you didn't get a shorter time, and I'm talking about the up ramp beside the down ramp towards the finish.
Dapper needs to do a track based on a bottle of wine ;)

You should make a reverse cheese map, a normal seeming map, but as you look around you see "cheeses" but they all take longer to do rather than running the track normally just to mess with people haha

Awesome track as always, I've gotten a bit bored of the others tracks since they seem to go for the more traditional track but I never miss a dapper one. Just wish kosmo would enjoy the mystery of the dapper track rather than complain
Should made a short cut that had you go backwards through a few check points.
The thing about pro v noob stuff is the pros don't need it labeled.

The dev should add choice checkpoints. So you can have more _real_ checkpoints than are needed for a finish. Say 10 normal and 10 choice means the checkpoint counter starts at 0/10, and you can go through the finish as soon as you have any ten shortcuts.
You should build a secret shortcut that has a secret shortcut in the secret shortcut and in that other secret shortcut has a secret finish

Idea make a normal track but add stuff on the track to have a fast time. have them think there is a shortcut and make a video saying there is a shot cut. but there is no shortcut
