Attacked while ‘exposing your vein’ filth!! 🤣🤣 Oh mate. The vid started so well. You were so proud to show off all that hard work on the base. Looks awesome by the way. Then you went head long in to moder with no real plan or prep and died with no portal. That sucks!! You need better food, fully upgraded armour and weapons. Also need an easy escape route like a cave or something. Keep going though, i believe in you.
If "You Are Being Hunted," find an elevated spot that the wolves can't climb and you can retreat there if need be. If you kill any wolves they will be replenished until the hunt has finished. But it is a good opportunity to get wolf pelts, meat, etc.
When you are going to pick up from your tombstone, make sure to disable auto-pickup, and that your inventory is empty. Then when you pick up your inventory, you should immediately activate your Megingjord belt (unless you were under your beltless weight limit).
In general a good idea to disable auto pickup before boss fights, especially when fighting something like Yag. Otherwise you could end up dying with 450 units of stone, that you will have to sort through when looting your grave.
32:29 .. he .. cursed!!! :O Arrows don't do much damage to Moder making the fight *feel* very difficult. So the non-cheese way to kill him: What you did near the end was good; not sure if you realized that, but you lured him off of the mountain to more easy/flat terrain. Once he lands there; it's relatively easy to walk up to his face and smack it hard. Which does more damage. I suggest you use a sword, not a mace; as the sword is faster to hit him with. So yea, get that silver sword, lure him to flatter area, slash his face open. In short: Turn it into a melee fight on flatter ground, instead of an bow/arrow fight on rocky terrain.
Golems - Easy Golem trap - dig a pit, wait for him to come to the edge of the pit, and then hit the wall under him with a pickaxe. Leave him in the pit. Don't kill him until you want to.
Moder tricks. Kite him to a nearby cave. Use the hoe to create a dirt wall that you can hide behind. Jump inside the cave if you need to take a quick breather/regain health.
I assume 6 floor tile range for log troll attacks - Pigs only need to be fed to make more piggys. They won't starve. Tamed Wolves will eat through wood fence to get to enemies - Use stone or earth. Best thing from hildir is the iron pit - fire than can be placed on wood floor.
Portals - I always setup two sets of portals. One protected semi-close (like that castle) and then a second one as close to the fight as I can and protect it with Stone walls, etc. to keep the dragon from destroying it.
Check what the controls are to toggle on and off autopickup. Corpse run gives a carry more weight bonus - which can bite you with overweight debuff when it runs out - Corpserun is buff from popping a tombstone - lasts 30 seconds.
Deer Stew is a Black forest level food. You should have better options - serpent meat ( 70 h/23 stam/3 regen) ( cooked on iron cooking station) would be best. Wolf skewer ( mtn food unlock)(65/21/3) next ( need new cooking station upgrade from crafting tab). Black soup (50/17/3) from swamp is better than Deer stew (45/15/3). You are doing very very well for first time through with Moder, the dragon mother. All that chitin you got off the leviathans ( 3 together WOW) - makes a harpoon that can drag a golem into a hole as somone else commented. HINT - Maybe a Forsaken power that helps with movement and jump stamina would help.
I found that poison arrows were more effective than fire arrows. While she is weak to fire, the extra fire damage doesn't make up for the overall lack of punch fire arrows have. You can sometimes get golems to trap themselves by having them do a smash attack while they are on a rock. Moder can't attack straight down if you are underneath her, so that's the best place to be for a melee attack. There are other strategies for fighting Moder, but they are a bit moot now as they rely on prepping the battle area prior to engagement.
Yeah so armour and tools weigh a lot so that’s why I saw a comment saying only bring essential when going to get things. Like no axe, rake, ext… if you don’t need them on your trip. I’m sure the silver armour is a lot heavier then What you had in last video. 🎉❤
If you are determined to fight Moder with bow only then obsidian arrows do more damage. Ps. no matter what I do there always ends up being a boar outside the pen. I usually name it Freeman and he just wanders around my compound.
That was fun. Your mace did more damage than the bow. Stop using the secondary attack it takes too long and it uses stamina. She has 4 attacks Crystal Freeze Bite Wing strike
You are the only person I have EVER seen that killed a Stone Golem with a bow. The preferred way is to PARRY them with the shield and then when they are staggered whack them once or twice with the iron mace. Use the first attack, the secondary attack is too slow and you may get caught in that animation.

While Moder is weak to fire, you should still be able to do more damage to her with poison or obsidian arrows, as the fire effect is not very strong.

Wow… that was super quick you must have been grinding a lot! 🎉❤ 😅

Exactly! I've died so many times for this same reason. There were times all my skill points dropped below 10, some even got to 0.

You need to go back to Hildir and click on the table shes standing behind

Hint: silver pits make good wolf traps after you get the silver out.

Parry, parry, parry.
PARRY the stone golem attacks. You can stagger the golem, and you get multiple times the attack damage if the mob has been staggered.

Your tour was a little dark and hard to see the upgrades. Question, did your rest area have an armor stand? The armor stand adds to the rest bonus.

I have killed them with a bow when I was leveling my bow skill. Always need more arrows than you think. Thank goodness for Hildir's quests.
