Thanks for a clear explanation of conditional clauses. One minor thing; in English we become nauseated, not nauseous. Something (or someone) that is nauseous makes one nauseated.
But I always hear Americans say: This makes me nauseous.
Yes, I suppose that's very common. I just checked a recent dictionary, and it looks like the usage you demonstrate is now common parlance. My usage is outdated and probably sounds stiff.
I'm just old and had a really pedantic grammar teacher in high school. This was the grammar book I used: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Elements_of_Style

In your mp3 audio, you gave verbal tests. I love these for the car. Just slow down a bit and do them 1 at a time and then say the answer in German and English slowly so we can process. Good job.
