@@D2ArkaAra So did they fixed the detent issue. My Kunwu X Tao just arrived today. Ordered the CF handle one. FYI, the detent in mine is so soft. Hard to describe the motion but I can get the blade opened and locked without even disengaging the axis lock. Just a PSA for people who are thinking of ordering one. To me it actually increases its fidget factor even more.

The SOG terminus XR pocket clip has the same issue with the pocket material hooking over the butt end of the knife making it really tough to take out of your pocket. Don't know why they just didn't make it flush with the handle. That wire clip on the X Tao . Looks perfect. Thanks for making me pick up some extra overtime to afford my knife addiction! Thanks for the great videos!
I like this one a lot! The cf looks really nice. But, looking at the plunge grind, I would imagine it would develop a smile pretty quickly with sharpening -- at least based on what I can see in the video. Seems like it's still transitioning to the flat past the end of the cutting edge, but I could be wrong on that. Not a deal killer, and it does make for a very nice looking blade though.
Don't like the bilboarding? That's why they sell brillo pads! It looked well done to me. Pretty cool knife. That's one of the few knives where I like the carbon fiber. Looks like a comfortable knife to use and hold. I'm a fan of wire clips especially if you can reverse it.
Thanks to D2ArkaAra for the look see on these great knives. Think I would have preferred a regular thumbstud just personal preference. Great price for materials and build quality looks great. Love axis locks knives as easy to operate in both hands. The choice of steel is awesome as well. Thanks for the great vid JB and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable
Small update on the Tao. Working with them and sounds like I'll be getting a replacement knife due to the near complete lack of detent.
