    Thanks for this video! I've spent some time in Cortona. They have several large paintings of his in the town's museum. For that reason, I always feel like I have a personal connection with him. He seems to employ a lot of secondary colors - that is, orange, green, and purple. Fra Angelico, on the other hand, seems to use more primary colors - red, blue, and yellow. If you really want to get knocked out by Signorelli go visit the frescoes he painted in Orvieto!

    I wasn't aware of this painting, so thank you for the intro and the exposition. Wonder why he chose to portray the Mohel as a Monk?! How many feet and inches is it? Signorelli wouldn't have known about Metric, and neither do some of us.
