Wow - this one is good - love the way you change locations, and the place looks sorta tranquil and nice - I think I recognize it from some of all the Tsunami-videos I've seen......but not sure......tnx and keep up the good work......:-)

it really is a pretty place. I took the ferry from Phuket over to Ao Nang. That alone was a wonderful little trip. The water is clean looking, you motor past several small islands and limestone stacks. Pretty good food in Ao Nang. The beach is not that great though. I thought the mud felt very slimey. Not sure if that was just because of leaves and vegetable matter or something else. Took the long tail boat around the point over to Railey beach and that had clean white sand. No surf or waves to speak of. Just quiet water. There is some nightlife in Ao Nang so you can keep occupied as needed. I thought all the hotel and restaurant staff were fantastic.
