And remember this was done during quarantine, so the guys weren't even together. The backing harmonies are great, along with Tim's bass. And Adam's vocal percussion is outstanding. Home Free is an a cappella group which means they use no instrument but the human body. It all comes from the lips, tongue, throat, etc. (Actually Born in the USA is the only video I've seen them with an instrument; Chance has a guitar.) They're mostly country music but they are from from limited to that. They cover rock, R&B, rap, pop, Christmas songs both moving and funny. And the music is alway wonderful.
They are a wonderful a cappella group. You'll undoubtedly have a lot of requests for their older stuff -- Adam Rupp's drum solo from 2015, 2016, or 2018; things from before or just after their current baritone joined them; etc. I'm going to recommend some more recent videos that I think give you a better idea who they are currently. First up, showing a bit of their fun side is "Workin' for a Living" which shows off all their vocal ranges and the beatboxer's no-monica (ie harmonica without a harmonica) and as a bonus gives you all their names. Second, "One Man Band" is just a great, straightforward a cappella piece with all the vocalists singing their solos in the same octave! Austin's lady Amberly was in the studio when this was filmed and he sings "I'll give you everything I've got". I loved the original & Home Free's rendition is terrific. I live about 2 blocks from the studio where this song was originally recorded by Percy Sledge in the 60s. I never cared for the original or the remake by Michael Bolton in the 80s...but this version changed my mind!
His beautiful girlfriend Amberly was in the studio while he was singing. These guys are absolutely phenomenal. I don't know if you know that they were on an American TV show called The Sing Off in 2013 and won the show.
My understanding, is that it took Tim Foust ( Bass) quite some time to talk Austin Brown into doing this one. This was done during quarantine, so, Austin was the only one in the studio. The rest did their part from their respective homes.

I live about 2 blocks from the studio where this song was originally recorded by Percy Sledge in the 60s. I never cared for the original or the remake by Michael Bolton in the 80s...but this version changed my mind!

His beautiful girlfriend Amberly was in the studio while he was singing. These guys are absolutely phenomenal. I don't know if you know that they were on an American TV show called The Sing Off in 2013 and won the show.

My understanding, is that it took Tim Foust ( Bass) quite some time to talk Austin Brown into doing this one. This was done during quarantine, so, Austin was the only one in the studio. The rest did their part from their respective homes.

@@lyfe-Sync det är dom. Fansen ”Home fries” är väldigt aktiva och trevliga. Fortsätt göra reaktioner till dom och din kanal lär växa. Det brukat rekommenderas att vänta med Mayday tills men vet mer om dom för annars förstår man inte hur mindblowing den är.
Adam Rupp är beatboxern och det finns video med honom där han gör drum solo. Han är otrolig.
