Unless u study somewhere like Sassoon academy you will only be taught the basics. I felt the same way. The more experience you get the less you'll feel like that. Keep watching his vids. Practice practice practice.
i think i'm going "fine". i decided to leave my salon that i did my apprenticeship in and explore other salons and how they work. It was heartbreaking to leave but now it's all up to me. I'm currently saving to go to sassoon in England.
