I bought my Tanggula X5 Pro back around April 2024. The main reason is that it has my local channels and I live in rural South Dakota. It does very well. If there were two things I would change would be the ability to update the Android operating system and I would also put in a faster processor. I get faster speeds over WiFi than through Ethernet so I stick with WiFi
Hi I just wanted to let everyone know, tanggula pro 5 box it's simply one of the best box out there and you should definitely should buy this box especially for a lifetime IPTV and thousands of free movies
one thing no one ever talks about is actually using the box to watch your favorite show or movie, is the BUFFERING. i have the X1, buffering is horrible at times. you contact support and the answer is always the same, " it looks good on our side, you need to clear cache, clear data, power off for 10 minutes, turn back on and update." i can tell you those steps never fix any thing.
Yep. Ihave the X5 and buffering is STILL an annoying issue, and that's with a solid Ethernet connection. In addition, the unit crashes TH-cam at least once per day, and the primary remote is ALWAYS unresponsive just after wake up for a minute or so. I have a second box from a competitor and it beats the X5 in every category and that's with Wi-Fi only. It's not without some redeeming qualities but overall it's disappointing, given the price point of these sorts of boxes
Always buffering. Their severs are inadequate to handle the user traffic, so it buffers constantly even when tethered to the router and at high speed. It'll work great for 2 weeks and then buffering incessantly for weeks.
@@carlweitz5169 ... and at least half the time, it simply can't connect to the content in the 2 Tanggula premium apps. Updating those 2 apps also takes WAY too long. More each day, I feel like I've just thrown that money straight down the sewer, and there doesn't seem to be any recourse. 🤬
Mine worked for about a week and a half. I'm sending it back. It started buffering and then just wouldn't show anything anymore and like some of the reviews said, the support network for it is HORRIBLE. It had sooo much potential. I found so much content on it I was interested to watch but it crashed. Too much money for it to not last over 2 weeks brand new. I didn't even want it replaced because I don't wanna go thru this all over again. Stay away from this product. Its NOT worth it

@@ajbfwb same here buffers all the time
@MBounan it's buffering would've cost me seeing Tyson/ Paul last night... good thing the other brand came through with flying colors.

when I attempt to open my tanggula app, it says “could not connect to the internet. Please check your network. What could my issue be?
