    Sir in modern central cooling water system is lt water overboarded or is again cooled by sea water and recirculated ? If yes then how come 60 % water is recirculated and 40% overboarded ?

    Sir if sw temp. is lower than 10℃ then temp. Sensor only control 3-way overboard v/v Or also control sea chest suction v/v? I mean if sw temp. is too cold then should we control sea chest suction v/v opening rate as well as, if yes then how is it done?

    • @searainly
      @searainly  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That arrangement is called 3.way control valve. If SW is too cold say 10 degree Celsius then more heated SW(SW taken heat from various coolers etc..) is circulated through Recirculating line and mixes with Incoming cold sea water which leads to rise in SW temperature (27-31degree Celsius) . So the Amount of Recirculating depend on Incoming Cold SW temperature which get sucked through sea chest.

      @@searainly So sir manuel sea chest suction v/v is always opened same rate at soo cold or hot water area?Or we have to adjust v/v opening/closing because sw p/p should be always running in a certain pressure.
