Yeah it's really rough how things turned out like this, and I honestly can't think of anything that could be done to give it that second chance at life at his point. Things got so fumbled between the pre-release marketing and actual release back in the day that it just sorta never recovered.
I have seen waaay to many comments like this, well the first thing there could be like 100 people more online if people would get online instead of wishing more people to be online, the game is fun had some balance issues but it is and will continue to be fun and that is what a game is for, instead of saying oh no people will play it again, start less loathing and more playing I say, with half the people that complains playing the game would have server full at this point, you need some patience because by stadistics people just give out easily creating less people for other to find, see the loop? also that reply of good for the guy that plays with its friends and family, THAT IS WHAT THE GAME IS FOR when did playing with randos became the norm? the only reason to look actively look for online matches and wanting them to be perfectly balanced is to be more professional, lets be real 80% of people n any game will never dedicate to pro activities so lets drop the act and just play for fun, that attitude only hurts the community the games and the creation of better experiences in the long run... TLDR want a game to get better? have fun and support it, want to be a pro check fact 1 first....

I was expecting mbrawl to actually play more like ranger, since his core early skills are all projectile's that do status and no chain skills, but they aint here and they went for his 2nd awakening look at skill set which is more awesome.
I like how the first 20 seconds of this video is just the Brawler blocking, giving us all a realistic example of what playing this character is going to be like a not insignificant amount of the time.

Have you considered a DLC release celebration sale with each character? It could get more copies in circulation Full price is to much for most people especially for an older game (no matter the quality)

Lancer has three more options left, the Skirmisher who is your classic Fate lancer very fast back to back stabs and slashes with big lance throws, the Dragoon who has has a continuous stream of energy lances that attack independently of him, and who I personally would like to see the Impaler who is an edgy Javelin user who throws javelins as a main weapon instead of stabbing with a spear
Not for a long while since the original game doesn't have one. They're still probably working on the other two subclasses for the new archer base class.
I understand that the dev team wanted to stay faithful to the original character design but the complete lack of rocks and meteors being thrown makes me think you guys didn't completely understand the character.
@@junkyryan138 You can use that kind of logic with anything; Nen shot, the defining skill of the Nen Master, is just one move, so using that line of thinking, we can fully omit the existence of that one move and preserve the core staples of what makes a Nen Master, right? How about Ryu's Hadouken and Shoryuken? Just 2 moves right? How far can we go with this logic before we start deluding ourselves into thinking less is more? Maybe you think it's negligible, but these are things that define characters regardless of them being "only 2 moves".
Would new single player content and a guest collab get some level of hype back for this game or would they need to just make a whole new game entry and do a Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising?
I feel like they just need better marketing and communication with the players, you cant sell a product if people dont know it exists and the devs have had the habit of going completely radio silent in-between patches
Honestly they should hold off on dropping dlc and drop a new installment in 2024. MK1 comes out in a few weeks and tekken 8 at the beginning of next year. I would say drop the game after the honeymoon phase for those games pass. There’s an anime fighter audience that are still stuck on GG strive and want something new. GBVS is going all out and DNF would need to add way more content more content to compete and keep fans and new players interested.

My only gripe is the lack of wind-up for the bat swing during his Awakening Super. Makes it feel like it has no impact.
check Hades's ultimate (male brawler 2nd awk), its not the swing power, its the whole explosion sets on it.
