She looks super cool. My only gripe is her super, that is visually kind of too simple compared to the other characters. I imagined that she would use the line and her speed to pass by the opponent several times tying him up, and then delivering a huge slash.

Ok this is what I wish other devs would do when showcasing their game. Get two people who know what they're doing and make them fight. It really allows you to understand what the new character is capable of

At best, it'll stay at the table that Melt Blood Type Lumina and Skullgirls sit at: A side tourney that people would congregate at when they're done with pools but it's still early to hit the money matches. Don't worry GranBlue Rising will be with them once it will be officially sent out to die.

I'm more curious about the system changes at this point. The buffs from gold cube seem to be quite strong, considering some characters had their awakening passive changed to clear cube, which triggers at 50% HP. Can't even fathom what sort of buffs they'll get under 30.
I too, really wanna see all core changes. Repeating my comment in another thread: in this demonstration they show the new system Imdomitable Spirit, at first looked like a Faultless Defense or a push block, but she spent a little bit of health to use it and didn't pushed the attacker away, instead looking at 0:17~0:19 she didn't move at all when using it even tho that move from Vanguard was suposed to push you far away, so I think this can be used to make the some of the enemy safes moves to become unsafe and give you a bit of white life even when blocking light hits, Also it looks like gives some invencibility frames, because the white flash indicates that, and she acted really fast out the vanguard 4S, so maybe reduces some of yours negative frames. Another implication is that you can reduce the amout of red life from big hits at end of block strings, maybe is for that reason you get invencibility frames during the defense, look the last hit from vanguard 4S at 0:19, it shoud have removed more red life than that, but instead removed only the little bit she spent to use the Imdomitable Spirit.

Is no one talking about that "indomitable spirit" activations on block (looks like a universal mechanic) that lets characters build grey health? So now its not only berserker and troubleshooter that can get grey health for conversions on-demand?

at this rate we'll never complete the DFO roster, since they'll be getting new class or new awakening faster than you guys comes with a newclass in DNF duel lol.
They have a roadmap now where theyll basically release a character every month or so, let people be happy that the game its finally getting patched, we get it, the devs suck, you dont have to be a bitch about it

6:07 Spectre’s life-bar seems to be low and takes more damage since we can see Ghostblade destroying her in a single combo even if he’s not in his Awakening state.

I've never played 2d games such as these in a competitive manner. It's been tekken, soulcalibur, and street fighter. So would yall say street fighter is on the same difficulty level as dnf, blazeblue, and guilty gear?

Oh, the awakening effects from the game are on the clear cube? So the gold cube has some new effects we don’t know about yet
