    The best thing about yamaha is mileage without compromising with performance i usually get around 50kmpl that too riding at 80-90kmph. Used to own fzs v3 before which used to give me around 40kmpl with the same riding style. I'm very happy with the r15m and the reliability which yamaha offers is unmatched.

Most prominent is wrist pain which i start feeling after 200-250kms riding continuously that too on mountain roads of Himachal where you have to work with throttle a lot. Take a short break and you are good to go again. I was also worried about sporty riding position but now i am used to it and will keep this bike for years.

      @@aadityapatil1354 i purchased my bike in may 2022 still it is as good as new. You just have to be careful about those panels cause it is a sports bike not a touring bike. I rarely ride with pillion and never took anyone for long ride. This bike is meant to be ridden solo. In my riding history of around 40000kms i only once had a small fall because a car suddenly turned and my r15m hit the car and fell. Still there is only a minor scratch on the fairing and everything else was intact. No one can even tell by looking that this bike had an accident. So i will say the build quality is pretty good. If you are planning to buy r15 go for m version it's worth the extra you pay for it.

    The new Karizma in it's current form, is some seriously impressive work by Hero because this is they first time Hero is doing something so state of the art in terms of tech. They seriously need to work on reducing the weight of the motorcycle substantially, How ironic, is that the XMR looks sleek and leaner than the R15 while the R15 is a FULL 20KGs lighter. Benefits of a full aluminum perimeter frame and swingarm over the steel trellis chassis and steel swingarm, I guess.
    I hope there is a ZMR that sits above the XMR, with more hardware, weight reduction to compete better with the R15.

      Bro Karizma is a 210 cc bike and r15 is 150 cc bike. There would be obvious weight diffrence. When compared to the 200s it's about the same more or less. The zmr would never come again. Im not sure how you claim Yamaha quality is superb when we can clearly see chipped off paint at the base of the mirrors. 0:55 the R15 quality might be better than karizma in comparison, but please do acknowledge that even they have to improve.

    • @roshansvideos
      @roshansvideos 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      Yes. Mirror paint chips off a bit. There is rust in some brackets which hold together stuff. However, nothing happens to the core machine. It is top notch and remains the same even years after. I owned a pulsar, it served well, but the core of the machine...many important parts like the silencer, tank and other parts rust which will make us replace these parts a few years into ownership.

      I don't remember when Yamaha's build quality used to be superb (except maybe during the days of R15 V1?), it is great (relatively) but still they have their issues.
      I remember, in 2019 when MT15 launched in India, the journalists were complaining about the flimsy plastics, and there were already problems with R15 v3's tank opening up and all. I personally found panel gaps in their FZ when I test rode it back then. Even the FZ25 had rust issues initially. *Where XMR has missed is its width..had hero increased few more mm on the both the sides of the fairing and made it a bit bulk by absorbing the front wheel rather sitting on the front wheel...it would have looked proportionate at the same time Yamaha looks stunning and is a perfect poster for walls, while XMR designers need to go back to the black board and drop the front height of the bike and because it looks too tall to be a fairing sports bike, neither it looks like a adv but a mismatch of both or have been cleverly designed by hero to give the taste of both the world...none the less where XMR steal the show is the front looks of the bike which truly is unique and will certainly grow on young riders with due course of time.*

One need performance and that umph of racer feeling and reliability get r15 , one need practicallity , better tour ability and vast service network get the xmr . Verdict, both are fantastic and yes good job hero

    XMR’s handling and seating position even for a pillion is too good. Can do long rides, I don’t think that there will be 10 kmpl difference between these two & it’s a fresh design compared to R15 which looks fantastic but it’s been a while we need some change. Hope the other companies like Honda come up with CBR 250rr or something to give though competition in this market.

    I’ve seen the Karizma XMR in flesh and let me tell you, looks handsome from the side and rear, front is underwhelming. Quality is the main downer for the XMR, the panel gap on the plastic on the tank is glaring and I’m sure it will rattle with time whereas the Yamaha screams attention to detail and quality.. I own a D390 now but would definitely get the R15 as a second bike in my garage one day, it’s just so deliciously designed and desirable 🤤😍

    I don't understand why R15 is so loved and bought by a lot of people even with the hefty price for a 155cc motorcycle. Yes the build quality is great, but now a days most bikes are of good build quality. Other then that it being a small capacity engine, takes long to reach 100 kmph, also the ride quality is not good, it's very stoff, but why is everybody liking it so much. Nobody is going to ride it on a track everyday. Why such craze about this bike??? Better to by a 250 or a 200. Or if naked bike is preferred, royal Enfield hunter, TVD ronin, etc lot of nice and better options are there

    Both R15 and MT-15 bikes are great. Performance is reasonable, mileage is also reasonable. Maintenance is also reliable and the good thing is that it does not vibrate that much and does not make that much sound.. If I talk about Bihar, you will see more R15 and MT-15 than KTM. There can be many regions for this, Yamaha showroom is very good all over Bihar.
    Talking about KTM, there will be 10 to 20 KTM showrooms in entire Bihar. On top of that, they are very expensive, they also give less mileage and there is a lot of problem with parts.
    You can also get Bajaj vehicles in good numbers i.e. 220 and 200 in decent numbers but people do not like to buy them at all, their compulsion is that they do not want to spend much money.

      Because they already have a 160cc bike up their sleeves 🤦 Manufacturers can make something like the R15 with technology similar to VVA . I remember a patent of bajaj that was leaked a few years back. But in doing so they will sabotage the sales of both their 200 and 160 at the same time while creating confusion in costumers.

      Then YAMAHA needs to come up with a higher cc R series. Because they won’t increase power on this 155cc. For that they need to come up with 200cc or 250 cc engine… But one thing is R15 is a consistent performer over the years.. Many other competitors came bit none could dethrone The King

    A less comfortable bike on road is better than a comfortable bike standing at home because of its efficiency. Power, posture, comfort is temporary. Efficiency is permanent. Whenever you want to take your motorcycle out, you’ll hesitate with the hero as it gives 30 kmpl and on the other hand r15 gives around 50… and that’s definitely needs consideration. You wana hang out and bunk in the town. You’ll look at your pocket and then just park your hero at home and go on your friends access. What’s the point of buying karizma. Go for an R15.

    • @vithulsmangalath
      @vithulsmangalath 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Well price it like a 200 and you get instant comparison with a 200. R15 can never match the acceleration and thrill offered by a 200cc bike. But what sets it apart is the track focused nature of the R15. The next option is only the RC200 but the price difference is what gets the R15 it's advantage. Give Karizma a track focused version, or even the RS 200 a track focused version it would be a clean sweep by the 200s🤗
