Funny fact, if you have the perk that turns mitigation into stealth rating, pyromania stacks will make you more stealthy with Heat Shield.
Turns out its really hard to hear footsteps when everything is exploding.

So, a few extra things about pyromancy perk. Other weapons that do trigger it are ba xing chong, hypercritical, o'five, yinglong (when emp procs), dezerter shotgun and, of course, comrade's hammer. The firecracker mod also works, but on some weapons only. You need a weapon that really explodes the shot, some guns seems incapable of having exploding bullets.
You can get 5 (or more if you hit yourself) stacks with a charged projectile launcher system (new phantom liberty relic perk) - since you shoot 5 missiles at once.
Also, contagion detonations also proc pyromania. Contagion is a quickhack that blows up if you deal thermal damage while it's on.
Yeah i figured weapons with explosive properties would work since it worked wit comrade’s hammer for me.
I tried using firecracker on a few weapons and none worked. Gonna test every power weapon now.
Also i tried contagion’s explosion and could not get a procc. Are you sure that wasn’t due to an enviroment explosion? Actually come to think about it, I only tried proccing it with burn out. Gonna try using burn damage next time instead.
I actually plan on making standalone videos for perks like this one. I will di a deeper dive on my testing and more examples. Thank you for the comment and mentioning the relic tree. I tried that weakspot one but didn’t even think of looking at the projectile system’s effect.
@@zKarma when I cast contagion followed by overheat on the same queue, the enemy blows up and I get a stack of pyromania. No idea why it's not working for you.
@@dilsoncamacho4100 Ah thats right. The one that doesnt work for me is detonate grenade. Also, i just tested every power weapon (non iconics). I think firecracker is bugged because there are only two weapons that have visible explosions and procc pyromania (the ma70 hb LMG and the Metel Revolver). That seems really off. I'm writing that off as firecracker being weird. It still gives provides aoe dmg to nearby enemies, but no visible explosion and no pyromania stacks.
@@zKarma I am using the iconic metel revolver from an airdrop and it will give stacks of pyromania. Since both it and regular metel have the fires explosive bullets modifier I think it works on all metels not because of firecracker.
@@simonwahlen7150 ok let me try using that lmfg without the mod. If thats the case, then firecracker does not procc at all
My main complaint about the tech tree is if I wanted to use 3 tech weapons + projectile launch system I would pretty much be forced to use sandevistan if I wanted to use the emp perk. Otherwise I would have 20 tech purely for chain lightning and armor since I don't really care about the Edgerunner perk.

playing on very hard, a borged out machine is just a walking tank, able to survive all but the biggest encounter and dish out unfathomable damage, which will be exaggerated with my build that utilised chrome compressor to get even more cyberware in place of the OS
how do you activate the emp?
@@thewieczorekfamily4727by activating your OS. It kind of sucks because you have to put your OS in cool down to activate it. The one good thing is you can repeat the cool down and keep activating it I just wish it would go off by manually deactivating your OS.
Well made, I appreciate how you provided examples of the effects in the game too. Coming back to check out 2.0 and the DLC so I had no idea about the new trees, this helped a bunch.

Is edgerunner perk worth it? Look what it gives (we count maximum possible): +50 cyberware capacity, -25% hp, 5% chance per kill to... actually does not matter what, it is too low chance to keep it serious.
and even without unlimited shards glitch, there is still no limit on shards drop, so you in theory can have unlimited cyberware capacity without any perks and/or glitches.
so in the end we have only -25% hp without any benefits.
am I wrong?
It depends on your build. If you want doom launcher, atp why not get it considering how much you can do with cyberware and perks. If Tech tree isn't really needed I think it's pretty much not worth it unless you just got left over points.
I started out only wanting swords knives and pistols and the Doomlauncher. While playing and building I slowly started to realize I might as well go all in on Tech after going so far. Especially once I considered the what I gain and luckily I didn't have to sac part of a tree I wanted just to fully unlock Tech Tree.
I love these videos man.. I don’t have the patience myself to really read and comprehend exactly what every perk does or how it’s best used, and these videos r extremely helpful in that aspect

chip connossoire is kinda funny. All you have to do is activate it when upgrading, after that relocate that perk point. Regarding different stat moddifiers you get, you can have some control over it. Like, upgrade your OS and every other cyberware will have different 4 categories of stat modifiers... same goes for other cyberware. If you have what you want with legs but not arms, upgrade legs and stat modifiers for arms will change, maybe for the better.

Question about extended warranty - it obviously works with Sandevistian but it much more important to know does it work with something like Kereznikov and with what cyberwar it doesn't work. You kinda ignored that part.
I didn't ignore it fam. It works with cyberware that has effects with a certain duration. Like the Kerenzikov for example. Others are like synaptic acceleartor, reflex tuner, etc.

I’m looking for a perk that’s called ambidextrous saw it in another video but I cannot find it in my character perk attribute area. Also other peoples like this video their attribute perk menu looks so much different than mine.
I am waiting patiently (not really) for the breakdowns of the other trees.

Fury should have had additional shit like your weapon keeps firing to simulate going psycholo. Omg or have NPCs look like enemies (even former bosses). That's be annoying but cool from a lote perspective
don't waste your perk point on "IN charge" for bolts... Especially when your sniper rifle is the nekomata.. you can cancel the charge by hitting the weapon bash button. I find it more tactical that way against a group of gangs, even in NCPD side quests..
I guess you can combine the pyro with explosion from hacking combo contagion and overheat, which explode targets.
I had no idea you could spam ticking time bomb with apogee! Thats insane!

Yeah 2.0 was a real game changer. Originally I was ticked that 2.0 was going to be separate from Phantom Liberty, but once it dropped and I saw all the changes it made I was blown away and realized it had to be done this way. This was the first non lip stick on a very ugly pig update this game got and it forced me to re-evaluate my review of the game. (Which was originally written within the first week of launch.) No game has ever made a comeback like this game has and if I were to compare it to a game of baseball it would definitely be as follows:
The bottom of the 9th. the score is 12 to nothing, a normally very dangerous player, who has been in a bit of a slump lately, is at bat. The count is 3 balls, 2 strikes 2 outs. The next pitch is smashed out of the ball park in a single home run. This starts a rally which ends the inning with the score tied. (The final score will be determined by the expansion which I haven't finished yet, but so far so good.)
Truly the comeback of the century, and I no longer call this game Cyberpuke 2077.

So just to confirm... for cyborg perk, second hand cyberware perk does not need to be active?.. because i dont plan on having it, but i want cyborg perk to work properly.
Does grenade perks affect doomlauncher too? im going for a Katana /doomlauncher build, with the pyromania perks i should become a unstopabble walking exploding tank who also moves at the speed of sound, it would be nice the bonus of those perks

with the chain lightning from Bolt...does that also happen if you "full auto" bolts?
No. You get one, then theres a little cooldown before another chain. I was only able to get 2 at a time with the senkoh.

Can you get pyromania stacks by using tier 4-5 contagion and exploding them with burn effects?
I'm curious if the cyberware cooldown perks affect the recharges of the bloodpump and projectile launcher cyberware, or does the game consider "cooldowns" and "recharges" to be separate mechanics?
Now, that is an interesting question. Inquiring minds want to know! My off the cuff, I would guess that the game mechanics do consider 'cooldowns' & 'recharges' as not the same.

So when I allocated perk that gives Cyberware 3rd mod, bought the mods and unallocated that, then looked and saw that there are still three mods was a lie? This one I can't get back while reaping the benefits? Okay (

All of them, and also all the Bezerks, they have to be on and in use however.

You no longer upgrade those. You need Attribute points. You get one each time you level up.

I agree. And then not all bolts go through walls. You gotta wait til the last bit of the small window to get it to go through. Its so bad lol.

A few yes. Not every single perk. But with 80 max perk points, you can get a ton of things

The multiple grenade mechanics here are much too complex to keep track of in the middle of combat. Grenades are great weapons, but would reaquire a special grenade-focused build to take advantage of any of the Pyromania 3/3+ perks.
In most practical builds, there is no reason to go beyond Pyromania 1/3.
Borrowed Time is especially useful to Netrunners who burn health with Overclock when they run out of RAM.

Does Heat Shield stack with Burn this city when you go over 5 stacks of Pyromania? Or is the max mitigation chance you get from it 50%?
Also: Does chain lightning proc with every shot of a full auto tech weapon, or only with the first one?
One last thing, the firecracker mod. You say it doesn't work with pyromania, but I have seen it do so, I will look for the vid

In here he uses explosions to trigger pyromania first, so maybe the explosive bullets won't get you the first stack, but can get you the rest?
Yes of course. If ur good with keeping up those stacks u can get up to 90% extra mitigation chance.
With the weapon i tested it was proccing on the first and sometimes a second time. Looked like it was on a short timer before it proccs it again.

some of the most meaningless perks ever. Most come with their own built in disadvantage to make them even worse. Level scaling and underwhelming perks are ruining this game.
