In Bunnell you could have gotten on the old section of Dixie Highway all brick road thru the woods.

The abandoned bar was called the White Eagle. It closed around 2016 or so. It was a fun biker bar with the best chicken wings.

Hi there Mr. Tampa Jay, My husband and I have a place off of Dunns Creek. We pontoon on Dunns Creek a lot. There is a sandbar at mile marker 23 on the St. Johns River. A very popular sand bar. Loads of summer/water fun. It was neat to see you were in our area. Keep on making your video attractions, we love watching them. Susan

I am always amazed with old structures not being torn down. Be careful. Don't wanna get hurt out there. So cool seeing yesterday's world. I had a friend's grandmother who was 97 and told my friend and I stories. She showed us pictures of the town in 1920's so cool!!!!

You were just down the road from where I am now. Middleburg. But I was born in and raised in Hardee County and spent many years in Ft. Meade. Thanks for the old Florida videos. Some of old Florida has changed but much of it hasn't. Love old Florida. Thanks Jay.

That's how my town is. City Hall, Police dept, and Fire dept in 1 building. Pickens, South Carolina. Cool sites to explore close to me. Table Rock state park, Caesar's Head state park, Haygood Grist Mill, lots of waterfalls, lakes, rivers, creeks, caves, etc..
I love where I live. ❤ Can you tell? 😊

When you were under the bridge at the beginning that is Dunn's creek. it connects Crescent Lake to the St. Johns River. Taking a tour by boat in this area would be amazing, I recommend. I was fortunate enough to grow up in this area and this is a trip back in time for me. Good stuff man

Thanks Jay. Hope Cris the girl had a wonderful birthday. Rogue and abandoned shopping carts are one of my largest pet peeves too. I got a huge dent in my Subaru from a rogue shopping cart that wind slammed into my parked car. That was one repair I hated paying. Safe travels

Another great video! I moved up to putnam county from sarasota back in 04. I travel all over the county servicing ac systems and i see every location in this video daily and have done work at several buildings including the Sprague house. There is a lot of civil war history in that area. And that old dodge truck has been on that lift since i moved there i pass it all the time.

Awesome adventure and a place I remembered going to as a teen fishing with my Uncle. The old motel site on Crescent Lake we stayed there on one of many fall fishing trips way back in the early 80's the structure that remained was the old restaurant I think. Appreciate you taking us along on yet another cool adventure 😎🚘🇺🇲😇🌞

I enjoyed watching this episode. The Sprague House in Crescent City looks like a place my wife and I would love to visit and stay overnight. I believe we in the South would pronounce it as Spray-gue, not Spahgue like you did several times. Anyway, I liked the commentary. It would be cool if you were to get permission to interview a local resident of the towns you visit. Happy travels! Watching from Jacksonville.

The old repair shop, with the truck stuck on top of the lift, you said the 2 levers you found on the side, were something to do with the gas. NO, they are the levers to operate the lifts, up or down, under air pressure. Just thought you would like to know.

And as a construction worker I used to eat lunch there several times a week I think the roundabout they built their may have killed the business but it may have closed before that I'm not sure I moved out of the area in the early 2010s

I live in satsuma fl the 3 buildings you seen in satsuma are going to be sold I am guessing the man that owned them passes he used to keep all that land from tge first building to the road where the train tracks are clean .. I have also lived in crescent city the China wok was a Hardee's back in the day it is still open the people who run it live inside I wouldn't eat there. The building that is city hall in crescent city used to be a old bank and the old bank that's abandoned used to be first federal bank the red brick building on the corner where the light is used to be a old jewelry story back when I was young crescent city was a busy little city it's a ghost town now it's not a place I would recommend anyone moving to it's a small town with big city crimes

  • @williammoore2982

There's a lot of homeless people living in those small towns, probably accounts for all those abandoned shopping carts. The state of Fla. has a large population of homeless.
