That was a pretty big pile of manure to shift. Well done.

Black gold is what I call it. Our manure pile the previous winter was pure compost due to the heavy winter rain washing all the ammonia out and leaving the best compost. Our garden last year was amazingly productive just on the black gold. This year we've been spreading it on the "island" (pasture cut off by ditch) to improve the soil out there and improve the grass elsewhere on the farm.
