  • In their 73 years of marriage, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip raised four children: Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward. The bond between Prince Charles and Prince Andrew, born 12 years apart, may have weakened in the wake of recent events. Rumor has it that the future king has been frustrated by his younger brother's sex scandal. In 2015, Prince Andrew was named in a sex abuse lawsuit by Virginia Giuffre, who claimed Jeffrey Epstein lent her to the Duke of York in an act of sex trafficking when she was underage. Will Charles ever forgive Andrew for the damage he's done? This is the truth about Prince Charles' relationship with Prince Andrew.

@@Messaiiina I suspect every man and woman has obsessions with people that they would cringe to have made public.
His was with a woman he had loved but felt he could never marry, and still loves, happily, to this day. In the big scheme, it's rather sweet that a man of that age, so adored a middle aged woman's body. More than the young model looks of the woman he was rather forced to choose to marry.
It was said with love. His friends would probably groan, chuckle and feel sorry for him - but it was said in devotion - that has lasted.
It wasn't mean, it wasn't controlling or to degrade. Just sadly, likely to make anyone outside the relationship, smirk.
It was the private ramblings of a man in love, who probably would have rethought, if he hadn't believed nobody but Camilla would hear those words, if indeed, he wasn't missing her so much.
I am a bit embarrassed for him - but I think it very sweet that he should still be so in love with an average looking, motherly country woman, when he probably could have bedded anyone, on a whim.

    • @georgielancaster1356
      @georgielancaster1356 2 ปีที่แล้ว +10

@@Messaiiina He fell in love but felt he could never marry her. He faffed about for a good decade, because he hadn't met anyone he liked better just being around.
He was under HUGE stress to marry and produce an heir. The press and public went absolutely insane over Diana. He also said to the press, before the engagement, "Why do you think SHE is the one?" I think nobody realised he genuinely wanted to know why the WORLD was obsessed with Di. I think he felt he needed to just get on and do his duty. Wife and children. He hoped they would have a settled, affectionate, civilised marriage, but Diana was insecure, clingy, jealous... She was so young, she did all the wrong things and made him run for the hills, and to the woman who made him laugh and made him happy just to be around.
In many ways, it is a romantic true love story. He didn't care that he was married to one of the most famously beautiful, young women of her generation. He loved a middle aged, horsey, average looking, mother of 2.
I respect him for it. I can't regret Diana. She gave height and glamour to the Royal family. It is sad what a mess things got into, and if Diana had been more experienced and had better advice, she and Charles would probably still be married, have a civilised friendly relationship, with maybe another child or 2, and both would have had discreet personal partners.

For as long as I can remember, my father found Saville repulsive and refused to watch or listen to broadcast where he was a participant. I don't know if this influenced me as I matured, however I have likewise reacted to Saville negatively, as a matter of fact I can't think of any one who ever reacted differently or who didn't squirm uncomfortably upon hearing of his voice. Although I understand Charles likely had to associate with him through patronages, I struggle to find the logic why they would have any other kind of mutual association. His brother on the other hand didn't have those unfortunate affiliations and his unwise choices are now his downfall. Saville raised so much money for charity whilst all the while it's known his conduct was covered and intentionally buried by those who benefitted from his patronages. Upon reflection of what has been uncovered and made public about Saville, there has to have been reflection and "Would have, Could have, Should have, in the minds of anyone with a conscience who associated with him.

Jimmy Savile had hundreds of celebrity friends. The police didn't know about Jimmy Savile until later in his life. If a professional investigation organization didn't know what makes you think Charles or any of the other celebrities Savile knew had any idea what he did in private? At the age of 10 I was raped by a pair of Roman Catholic priests. Hundreds of people knew both of them. Does that mean they all knew? The reason pedophiles are so successful is they are very good at fooling people into thinking they are normal innocent people. Charles is not different than anyone else in that regard. Sure, he's probably embarrassed. Just like any other elderly person is embarrassed when taken in by a scam artist. Charles is not his brother.

It wasn't really until the 1970's and more so in the 1980's that people started to take seriously complaints made by children about adults. I know. yep. It's telling of the uk press that during (and since) the whole savile thing, all the emphasis and blame was put on the BBC, and there was little or no comment or even hard questions over how savile was allowed to regularly stay at Highgrove (with Charles, at his house) how he was pretty much best mates with him for a while, how he used to spend christmas with Thatcher at downing street, and was, unbelievably, given the keys to Broadmoor by Tory MP's, which allowed him to abuse mentally ill people there. All of the above couldn't have happened without secret service vetting, which means that most likely, savile's dispostion as an abuser and rapist was known, in part at least. There have been reports of people trying to get the police to look into savile in the 70's, which never went anywhere, by orders 'from above' - perhaps cause he was best mates with Ted Heath (former PM), who also visited the same care homes as Savile to take kids out for the day... but no, all the reporting points towards the BBC for employing him, nowhere else.

@@artstudiogirl784 the fact that Charles was struggling was no one's fault but the parents. It's not like she couldn't have insisted on some daily time with her son. My GAWD, even though I was working and struggling to keep a roof over our heads, especially after my Mom's death, I STILL took time to spend with my son. To add to the burden, I homeschooled my son, so I was also his full time teacher, in addition to being his mother and his sole support. I understand she lost her father, but she had her mother and other family members for support, not to mention secretaries, courtiers, etc. There's no excuse why she couldn't have made time for her son. I've read where as a young child he would see her in her office and ask her, "Mummy will you play with me?" She would say, "If only I could," and then have someone SHUT THE DOOR on him. That's her fault. She could have spent ten or fifteen minutes here and there throughout the day with her son. She needed no "excuse" to spend time with her child. She chose not to. It's not like she had to choose between reading her son a story or cooking dinner. She had a lot of people around her to help her. I was glad to hear that Princess Diana insisted on taking care of her own boys as much as possible, and I love that Catherine is such a hands on mother. As far as this current group is concerned, it's a wash. The monarchy will only survive while people are waiting for William to take the throne. And it won't THRIVE until he does. Andrew needs to be exiled, if not imprisoned (which we all know won't happen), and Charles should be turned loose to dig in his rose garden and let William accede to the throne at the earliest opportunity.

I truly can't put their relationship on Charles. The Queen allowed her mother to take over rearing Charles cause he was the next Prince of Wales. The Queen Mother didn't want another spoiled Prince of Wales who only thought of himself and not the Firm. Unlike the Queen's uncle who Abdicated. So, Charles was close to grandma. You see it in film, when she returns from a overseas trip, he basically shakes her hand, and she was still just Princess Elizabeth. But with Andrew, the Queen and Prince Phillip were 'hands on'. Cause he was the 'Spare' at the time. Same can be said between the Queen, Princes William and Harry. You can see she's closer too Prince Harry, and more professional with Prince William (the next Prince of Wales, and king)..I'm seeing a trend, the Queen always treats the 'Spares' with greater affection, maybe that's because her own father was raised as a Spare, until the abdication. Just a outsider with some observations..

The queen has done a marvelous job and that’s what counts. Charles has no room to talk, the head of the Church of England does not divorce nor does he deceive a teenager to marry him when he has no intentions of stopping an adulterous affair.

@@maureenjacobs3697 I hear you! We heard a convicted pedophile in a graduate class explain how he targeted "throwaway kids,"
looking for children at arcades, with missing buttons on their sweaters or broken zippers, children unaccompanied by adults, seemingly with no curfew. Vulnerable children, with absent, uninvolved parents. These children responded to grooming: gifts, trips to circuses, restaurants, etc. And then, the sexual abuse, with all the attendant secrecy, lies, threats. These children were dumped, eventually, feeling more worthless and unloved than ever. Pedophilia is a sexual preference, unamenable to therapy. The pedophile speaking to us said that the only thing keeping him from reoffending was a 12 step program. He attended meetings regularly, often. Andrew is protected from having to face his misdeeds. The Queen will make sure that he will never have to attend 12 step programs with the "Great Unwashed."

Charles is one to talk about lifestyle specifically in the Royal Family considering his behaviour before, during and after his romance and subsequent marriage to Diana. She was a very young and beautiful aristocratic lady fluent in the behavioural matrix of what was expected of her in both her day to day life including the expectations of a Royal marriage to a potential king.
It is my belief and that of most civilised people that any and all commitments made, specifically with a view to a marital partnership they are or at the very least made with the explicit intention of sharing a lifetime with the chosen partner. Charles was dishonest from the very beginning enjoying the benefits of a duel relationship with a married woman and a beautiful young lady after giving vows to love care and share his life with Diana and any children they may have. The latter he failed to do causing an ugly divorce, two bewildered young children essentially being brought up by their mother until her untimely tragic death. It is my belief he does not deserve to be king and the baton should be handed, on her Majesty’s demise to William whom I believe will be a hands on King ably accompanied by his loving wife Catherine and Charles can continue with his ‘saving the planet’ mantra.

I absolutely think you have an incredible accurate analysis. The only thing I think that’s different is we should do away with monarchy as I have now chosen to support being a republic further to the royals behaviour and also Charles abuse of Scilly Isles and Cornish people via Duchy of Cornwall. Eg if someone passes away intestate in those places, unbelievably their estate value goes to Charles, which will one day soon will be William. He bullies islanders legally and won’t spend a penny on the infrastructure of island that really in a poor state. They are all ar53 hol5 except The Queen

I love the British Isles and an avid follower of all things British which includes the Monarchy therefore it would not be polite to discuss on any level of authority the Monarchy versus a Republic however I do agree that change is needed in both our countries to level the playing fields between them / us / they and we and if the Monarchy continues to have the likes of the Harkles/Markles, Randy Andy, Charles et al then perhaps following the Republic route is not to be taken lightly but certainly given some serious thought as Charles should never be given the baton as you could be more politically divided than we currently are. It would however be a sad day because of your history but if one looks at the Royal Family and the shenanigans currently taking place Charles will put the final nail in the coffin. I am really disturbed to hear of Charles cruelty / abuse towards the people which at this point seems to be two groups namely the Cornish people?(the other name was not clear

Thank goodness it is William and Kate who will eventually inherit the throne, not Andrew or Harry. Otherwise, the monarchy would have been finished after the Queen’s reign is over. Charles is not popular because of what happened with Diana. But he could be 80 or over before he succeeds to the throne - a real possibility - and his time as King will be relatively short. Given the antics of some family members it is not surprising that some Commonwealth countries wish to sever their links with the British crown, Barbados became a Republic very recently.

I don’t know if it’s true or not, but several reports said that it was Charles who advised the Queen to pull the plug on Andrew. I can see her wanting to do that so Charles won’t have it looming over his head when he takes over. If that’s the case, then I’d say she’s not expecting to live much longer. Cheating - as Charles did - is one thing. Being a sex offender, especially one who abuses minors, is quite another.

And the shocking and sickening murder of princess diana. The lady who shewed the royals what humanity is all about, not greed and self centered above all others. 78years i have watched the doings of the royals and i hope that charles never become king it would be so inappropriate. They say blood is thicker than water, but not in this case involving charles and his brother andrew.
