  • Another great day with over 15 scooters and 60 miles of riding.
    I just finished the first iteration of my new Uberscooter 2x built with Coast Ped and it's hard to miss with it's bright red grips in the video.
    Red Hope brakes, odi grips, Paul components throttle, Coast Ped stage 1 engine, and custom Jetpro pipe.
    More power and other changes coming soon. Awesome scooter so far, kept up great.

    by the way thanks for all your help ive just driven the evo around town here in arizona and in europe plan on driving it only two months or one month during the summer how long will the evo last are they fairly reliable also i would assume I can take it on long trips like maybe the next town over maybe ten miles away can i drive the evo the whole way thier or should i stop like half way and give the engine a break

      We ride this things like hell. Recently did a 60 mile day trip on ours, no issues. Have over 3000 miles logged on several scooters. Actives are great engines, just use premium fuel, good oil, and run 25:1 ratio.

    • @dwarfer2309
      @dwarfer2309 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      ok great thanks again for all the info so i can run the evo straight for over 10 miles no need to give the engine a rest half way

    hey where do I can get exhaust pipe for the Evo 2x

    • @PaulRohm
      @PaulRohm  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Coast Ped has some Evo pipes coming soon. Or you can get one made by Jet Pro, like I did for my current 2x build.

    really so pretty much any trailer will work it wont hit the ground or rub against the ground?

    • @PaulRohm
      @PaulRohm  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      any regular bicycle trailer should be good to go.

    • @dwarfer2309
      @dwarfer2309 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      ok great one person has a tow ped but another has a yellow trailer is that just a regular bike trailer also what do you use as a oil to gas ratio ussally for the evo 60:1?

    • @PaulRohm
      @PaulRohm  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      bike trailer. 60:1 is WAY too lean. We run Castrol 927 at 25:1.

    Hi i own a evo 2x that i have moded by putting an exhaust on and an ada filter i would love to know how you attached a bike trailer to the evo one of you guys has a yellow trailer attached to the rear tire i would love to know how its possible and what trailer you have specifically I sent my scooter to poland and am planning on using it for my main mode of transportation and to get groceries thats why a trailer to put groceries in would be nice please let me know i live in az but have family in poland and go there some time on vacation and would love to attach a trailer to the back tire

    • @PaulRohm
      @PaulRohm  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Mark, you can use pretty much any bicycle trailer and the stock attachments they come with to haul a trailer. The one in my video you see is a Tow-Ped used to be made by go-ped but its the same type of hitch point you'll see on any bicycle trailer. Good luck on your trip sounds fun!

      @dwarfer2309 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      i was using 60:1 per gallon the couple times i rode it here in AZ but i really should have been using 25:1? That seems like alot more tan i was using so if 25:1 is correct than thanks for the info

    • @PaulRohm
      @PaulRohm  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      25:1 if you want your motor to live.

    Gopeds are better than those Chinese 2 gear ones.

    • @PaulRohm
      @PaulRohm  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We ride both. The chinese ones are much better for longer distance riding and having two speeds, two brakes that actually work, front suspension, wider bars, bigger deck, stronger frame and 50cc engine is pretty nice.

    • @ODPTV1
      @ODPTV1 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      The suspension of those is horrible haha. The engines are tough and good for cruising but they are weak as hell for a 50cc

      I own over 5 go-peds at any given time, two evos, have logged over 3000 miles on scooters and have been building/riding for 15 years. Whats your experience?
