This method works but not the correct way you can definitely crack the tabs or the mirror but rather then do it the wrong way Use your manual that came with the vehicle it will tell you how to actually do it the right😀
I would recommend going to a mechanic as you would have to open the roof to access the wiring for vanity lights and I don't know what type of car you have. Sorry I couldn't help. Thanks!
@@WRNPR yea i got a 29mm, even pushed it to 30mm and it fit. I replaced all my lighting to led from reverse lights, license plate light, all interior lights, trunk lights, fog lights, day/running lights, and low/high beam. The Malibu really looks much more up to date now.
Not good it’s way too bright it literally blinds you . Led lights are good for all the rest of the lights in the cabin . Just not for the vanity mirror.
@@WRNPR for the vanity mirror it does blind people I had many different type of people of all ages get in my car and say the same thing so I had to readjust to face halfway to make it work . Very true sir.

28mm, you can use 29mm too. 29mm is more common
