Tamang tama lang naman po ang lasa kahit na ganun katagal ang fermentation. Minsan nga 8 hour pa bago ko maluto. Pero kung gusto nyo, 4-5 ay ok din kung ayaw nyo ng medyo maasim☺️
Hi Lisa. I’ve never tried this before so I won’t recommend you storing the fermented mixture in the freezer. You can try freezing it but I can’t guarantee that the Puto Calasiao will taste the same. If you think that the mixture is too much, I suggest to halve the ingredients so it won’t go to waste. Please take care❤️

Wala pong pagkakaiba. Na-try ko na rin pong i-ferment ng overnight pero ganun pa rin ung texture pag naluto at least ito hindi ka na kelangan maghintay ng matagal para matikman ang paborito nating puto😊

Mas mabigat kc ang texture ng rice flour kaysa sa tapioca flour kaya mas marami ang sukat kesa timbang. Gaya ng asukal ang 500 grams ay equivalent to 2 & 1/2 cup. I hope this make sense😊

Please follow the accurate ingredients in the description box. After a few trials and errors, I found that using less tapioca flour the texture of the puto is softer that is why I updated the ingredients☺️
If I would make half of the recipe like 250g of rice flour & tapioca flour & also 1 1/4 tsp of both baking powder & yeast would I still ferment for 1 hour or 1/2 hour na lang? Or If I Double the recipe, would I still ferment for 1 hour ? Second question is.. Is the yeast your using instant yeast or active dry yeast? Your answer would gladly be appreciated thanks

Have you tried using the rice itself? Soaked in water overnight then use blender to produce the rice milk?

May konting asim daw yung overnight na fermentation,gusto ko rin yung ganun lasa,..pero kung nagmamadali okay na yung 1hr...
