Some wonderful locos Jang, I love your ethic of occasionally taking inspiration from real life without letting it limit your designs. Works perfectly with the look of your city!!
Awesome!!!!!!!! So many amazing locomotives! I am a huge train fan myself, seeing this is awesome! I only have 3 custom locomotives myself, but I definitely want to make more!
Jang, I love your layout and your locomotive. My 3 year old daughter was just watching it with me and she smiled when she said blue choo choo that could. Made me proud.
With regard to your green twin locos, you talked about modifying the sides just behind the cab, but you couldn't remember the name of the feature. I believe you are talking about putting in a "Draper Taper" that would help the crew see to the rear.
"I don't know if anything like that exists in real life... maybe it shouldn't"; I laughed so hard it scared my cat out of bed. Really love your builds, city, and general attitude. Keep up the good work!
I love how most of these were inspired by locomotives and such you've seen, but aren't direct replicas for the most part. My favorites are probably the short diesel switcher and the 4-2-4, mostly because of the mechanism in the latter.
The F40PH is one of my favorites for the same reason... I grew up in northern chicago along the Union Pacific north line and my mom and I would ride the Metra to Ogilville (in downtown Chicago) and back. Occasionally I would also ride the BNSF line out to Joliet to visit my grandparents as well. Very happy memories.
You'd think that the short end (60052) would be the front but according to GM the IE GM Class 121 were meant to be run long end first. Which was rarely done, it even became policy never to run them long end first.
Jang I realize you get lots of suggestions but I’ll throw my hat in the ring. Maybe try an American Steam Locomotive like the SP 4449 Daylight or the UP 844?
LEGO 4645: Harbor released in 2011 The set includes a green grain transport ship, a red truck, and a blue and yellow building with a crane and a conveyor belt on top.
My favorite custom Locomotives from you have to be The Little Engine That Could, The Yellow and Grey Diesel, The 4-4-0 Western Loco, And the Amtrak Diesel.
Hey jang I think a good design for a train would be to have the drivers cabin on the same car as one of your 6ft containers Also you could make a custom container with the power functions inside
I thought that was the “Little Engine That Could” when I saw the preview-loved that book. Also, liked the matched pair, I’d need a lot of matched if I ever made train layout because I’m used to trains at Horseshoe Curve and that normally has at least tow…if not more…at each end!
Amazing as always! I would love to see “The Little Engine that could” with no limits! Just you going all out on it! And I would also love another limited train video aswell!
The blue switcher at ~14 minutes would make a really nice construction vehicle / maintenance transporter if you shortened the engine compartment to something like 4 to 6 blocks and used the rest of the vehicle's length as cargo space. Just in case you ever feel like modifying it some more.
Really great to see all your trains my favourite of your customs is the Amtrak cargo one but they are all good looking, I have built one custom loco myself based off a Freightliner Class 70 engine (UK) and I like it also 4645 was a city crane set
"parts i already had" ?? You already had all those sky-blue parts for the Lil Engine that Could? WOW. Were they all from sets, or some Bricklink orders? I love that color and never have enough for even single-story buildings. Nice work!
Just watched your GoPro video of the train and got a crazy idea. What if you made a piece/train car with integrated camera. It could be able to rotate even. Awell love your videos. They bring back many good memories
Looking at the AMTrack train, you said you wanted to get rid of the holes in the front, but I think it looks good and I think the real thing has vents in the front, I think it looks good.
At 10:16 yes something like that DOES exist. They are called the GP40FH-2B’s (GP for General Purpose). I used to see them all the time on NJ TRANSITS lines but they all have been either retired or scraped. The Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA if you want to look it up) stills has plenty of the in regular service across their system (New Jersey and New York).
I suspect that Jang must have been a train engineer in another life, or he's one right now part-time! LOL Kidding aside, you really know your locomotives, that's for sure! Your builds are quite unique, they don't look a lot like each other, and I really like the green locomotives you made as well, you do great work, Jang!
I was wondering if you ever thought of adding an EOT (End Of Train) device? I have noticed a lack of cabooses on your layout. I was thinking that if you don’t want to make a full caboose, you could take a few parts and just make a makeshift EOT device. Just a suggestion, but love the videos man. I really like the Amtrak locomotive.
Hey Jang, if you have the time or desire, could you please provide a minimum parts list (LEGO part #) to start on MOC engines? Talking of the trucks, driving gears, coupling, etc. Thank you very much
Dude I love the trains! I love your videos and you inspire me with your amazing mocs and builds. I have seen the videos were you show off the lego room and were you talk about the sets that dont fit in yet. There is a book series called Alcatraz verses the evil librarians and it has the world we know and whole continents full of castles and knights and giant glass machines, I thought that it might help inspire you on ideas for the sets that dont belong. Thanks for the great videos and God bless you
How about a flying train? Or a train that can hover above ground...... maybe a train that can swim? Edit: 4645 is a crane from the set called harbor with the set number 4645(what do know?)
Old Jang City’s police force was quite oppressive, wasn’t it? The police train was part of the old police force, I believe, and the new force is much nicer, I’m pretty sure, so I’d suspect they’d replace older, oppressive designs that couldn’t function to their needs well enough. So, it may be time for them to replace the police train with a unit possibly more akin to a mobile command unit, rather than a paddy wagon/swat van.
I thought he took apart the police train but it was so long ago he showed it to us but felt like yesterday. The Amtrak(new) is my favurite as it its really realsitic even tho i never seen it and i hate amtrak

Set 4645: brickset.com/sets/4645-1/Harbour
Can you give me some tips on TH-cam and please I used to watch your channel since I was like five
hold on a second... did you say the amtrak has been discontinued? when? and more importantly, why?
I had that harbour and the blue train, those were my first major Lego City
I have that piece on the Amtrack that you said was only in black and was rare-- but I have it in white.
@@jacob-taylor I did not say it's only in black. I have it in several colors. It's common. Black is rare.
Some wonderful locos Jang, I love your ethic of occasionally taking inspiration from real life without letting it limit your designs. Works perfectly with the look of your city!!
Fancy seeing you here
Omg! I wasn't expecting to see you here! It's like my two childhood channels colliding 😄
That’s coming from another Lego train building master!
HI Smith Movies, love your videos!
really enjoy seeing your custom railway and custom locos
Awesome!!!!!!!! So many amazing locomotives! I am a huge train fan myself, seeing this is awesome! I only have 3 custom locomotives myself, but I definitely want to make more!
That 60052 locomotive might be my favorite out if the bunch! Excellent work with all of them, and thank you sharing them with us.
Jang, I love your layout and your locomotive. My 3 year old daughter was just watching it with me and she smiled when she said blue choo choo that could. Made me proud.
Wow, you have a lot of trains jang, you did an amazing job on all of them!
Your trains are so cool.
With regard to your green twin locos, you talked about modifying the sides just behind the cab, but you couldn't remember the name of the feature. I believe you are talking about putting in a "Draper Taper" that would help the crew see to the rear.

I was really expecting to see some BNSF and Sante Fe engines in there. Awesome MOC's!
LEGO 4645: Harbor
released in 2011
The set includes a green grain transport ship, a red truck, and a blue and yellow building with a crane and a conveyor belt on top.
Wow! Jang knows his trains. He should make a train channel.
My favorite custom Locomotives from you have to be The Little Engine That Could, The Yellow and Grey Diesel, The 4-4-0 Western Loco, And the Amtrak Diesel.
I like your Sanic Switcher a lot. Makes me happy too.
The green, yellow, f40ph and DB are great too.
Hey jang I think a good design for a train would be to have the drivers cabin on the same car as one of your 6ft containers

Your green locomotives are most similar to the Iowa Pacific's GP40FH-2 locomotives.
Out of all of your custom creation videos this one is definitely my favorite as I have a custom train of my own
Amazing as always!
I would love to see “The Little Engine that could” with no limits! Just you going all out on it!
And I would also love another limited train video aswell!

I love trains especially Lego trains
The Amtrack looking one is sweet. Love passenger trains.
Really great to see all your trains my favourite of your customs is the Amtrak cargo one but they are all good looking, I have built one custom loco myself based off a Freightliner Class 70 engine (UK) and I like it also 4645 was a city crane set
Amtrak does not have "Cargo" trains. Amtrak is passenger
3:45 The orange black and gray makes me think of McLaren cars. They’re fast and very light just like this little locomotive
These are just so cool! Love the light blue one, it gives me a disney feeling haha
"parts i already had" ?? You already had all those sky-blue parts for the Lil Engine that Could? WOW. Were they all from sets, or some Bricklink orders? I love that color and never have enough for even single-story buildings. Nice work!
I still love your little orange switcher the most. Looks like an old EMD SW series. Or maybe a Plymouth Gas-mechanical switcher
20:22 I really like your shortened Maersk loco!
I love all the train engines. They are all so cool. Thanks for sharing.
I like the semi-hidden Thermal Detonator on the double-ended blue one
That 4645 Loco looks like a prime candidate to convert into a *pair*. Love the train videos. How about a summary of the rolling stock?
Just watched your GoPro video of the train and got a crazy idea. What if you made a piece/train car with integrated camera. It could be able to rotate even. Awell love your videos. They bring back many good memories
Awesome trains, can't wait to see additions to the lineup!
*when Jang's inner geek come out*
Jang mutters: OhMyGosh that's pretty cool
I would put some of these ideas on the lego ideas site. Maybe lego will produce them for us all??
0:56 and also new Zealand!
And btw I have a MOC train inspired from deisals IN new Zealand.
My favorite is always gonna be the Amtrak but there all really well put together (I mean the Amtrak phase-3 f40 ph
Looking at the AMTrack train, you said you wanted to get rid of the holes in the front, but I think it looks good and I think the real thing has vents in the front, I think it looks good.
I think 4645 is from the Crane from the 2011 Harbor Set. :-)
Love The Little Engine that could
I really love Amtrak and steam loco train :) they should be real set
I mean this black one 😑
You should build a high hood diesel
At 10:16 yes something like that DOES exist. They are called the GP40FH-2B’s (GP for General Purpose). I used to see them all the time on NJ TRANSITS lines but they all have been either retired or scraped. Ha! How cool is that. Thanks for the enlightenment :)
Custom trains? Wow, I love it! ❤️ Great job Jang!
Wow i rly like the green one
I suspect that Jang must have been a train engineer in another life, or he's one right now part-time! LOL Kidding aside, you really know your locomotives, that's for sure! Your builds are quite unique, they don't look a lot like each other, and I really like the green locomotives you made as well, you do great work, Jang!
11:03 Aww, I like the streak!
I love locomotives!!
Really nice trains! I love trains, too!
An impressive collection JANG keep up the good work
Thanks for mentioning Australia because I live there
I relay like the front on the police train. Especially the front wind shield.
Will you Atempt to make a J3 Newyork Hudson colored for your Railway?
hopefully
ahh so awesome i just got in to trains i got my first one like a week ago its really great! my fav train here is the green one!
Nice collection sir!
I love trains, steam locomotive are my favorite.👍🏻👍🏻😎
Trains! These look great.
You could make a theme park and have the little engine that could as a ride in a kids section.
That blue one with the snaller body (sorry i don't know train terms) looks odd at first but the more you look the cooler it looks
3:44 looks likes one of the smallest locomotives ever.
A GE 25 ton from 1938!
I LOVE your trains JANG! So cool!
No matter how bad a loco of your's is, I'll still like it, because I know you put effort into your stuff (And I'm a newbie).
Jang Mocs are the best
Nice collection!

Id say to make another F40PH to go with the one you have, Amtrak liked to run the F40PH doublehead on big trains like the set of coaches you have
In the 1991 animated adaptation by MCA/Universal, The Little Engine That Could was given the name "Tillie".
When will you review the creator mustang?
Cool trains,I might also be making a Star Wars train.
Wow I wish I could build like that
Final someone understands to make a Assie train I have being wait for ages thank you jang😄😄
Dude I love the trains! I love your videos and you inspire me with your amazing mocs and builds. Hey jangbricks at 4:03 the little switcher google a picture of a Plymouth ML-8 switcher that switcher looks very similar to your loot MOC
At 16:58 The engine showed I still find it interesting that the set number sticker came from a harbor set and is now on a train
How about a flying train? Or a train that can hover above ground...... maybe a train that can swim?
Edit: 4645 is a crane from the set called harbor with the set number 4645(what do know?)
The little engine that could become LEGO
I think your mearsk looks good
I love trains
Wow awesome
F40ph s are among your favourite locomotives.
Love it.
wow those are cooool

Nice trains!
I hope you know there’s a thermal detonator on the double cab blue engine, it might blow!
Wow... so great collection! ;-)
16:52 that things screams BRITIAN!
You did good 😀
Hi been watching your channel for years and I finally subsribed.
they look awesome but the width should be 9 studs. could you make a bilevel train Go Transit ?
18:22 its used on a crane in a LEGO harbor set.
Only 2 steamers?! Get some more steam on your railway people would love to see it!!!
please show your boats next thanks!
I thought he took apart the police train but it was so long ago he showed it to us but felt like yesterday. The Amtrak(new) is my favurite as it its really realsitic even tho i never seen it and i hate amtrak
