The use of a standard Morse taper reamer is absolutely incorrect. The Morse taper has a far greater taper than indicated in this video. I thought perhaps Tom meant to say it was a "taper-pin" reamer, another common machine shop standard. But alas, it too, though it has much less taper, still greatly exceeds the Moennig taper. This story is a mystery.

Agree. Using the numbers .589 and .580 together with an MT2 would match a barrel bore length of 4.6 mm which is not realistic.
I wonder what the differences are in the Moenig and chadash barrels? Can you address that in a video?
