Levan discusses Devon's evolution (Ermes, Denis, Georgi) & predicts Devon's chances of winning

- In an interview with Engin, Levan stated that he truly believed that in the first matchup against Devon, he was twice as strong, but he also predicted that Devon would defeat Ermes and Denis. Levan and Devon agreed that Devon was in control of the matchup against Denis from the beginning. It was a surprise to Levan that Devon beat Georgi, and Devon responded and Devon responded what Georgi's problem is. Maybe Levan will use the shoulder press against Devon. Devon believes he has a chance to defeat Levan. Levan gives it a 5% chance.

Levan’s English is getting much better. And he’s as wide as a Mack truck. I’m not sure Devon stands a chance to even win a round.

Even if we take into account that Ermes in the match with Devon was weaker than in the match with Levan (although I do not believe this), then Devon should be about the same level as Ermes in better shape, but with much more power . wrists. This is enough to stop Levan and come up with something.

Devon just denied Ermes to access his offensive moves... if Ermes can't attack he can just block like against Levan, but in that situation he is vulnerable to a press...
And that's why he lost to Devon (beside the awkward referee)
If Ermes was on the offensive side, and Devon was on the defensive one, i think that Devon wouldn't have been that much dominant, and would have been in trouble...
It was all about going offensive first, Devon had all the control he needed to get there.

I got into armwrestling because of Devon. First match I've seen him was against Travis Bagent in a rooftop. He has gone a long way. It's crazy to see that as he gets older he get stronger and stronger.

Леван определëнно поборол бы Дениса даже до травмы. Он в лëгкую борол буквально всех соперников, которые оказывали хорошее сопротивление Денису. У него выше вес. Конкретно так сильнее запястье, пронация, отведение. Лучше антропометрия. И такое же сильное боковое давление, луч, бицепс. Это было бы похоже на матч Эрмеса и Левана. Он явно оказал бы ему сопротивление, но в конечном счëте проиграл бы.

Devon is a master at the psychological aspect of the sport. For levan to say he gives him some chance is to express doubt. Thats what devon is wanting to put in his head.

Just looking at them side by side, wrist to elbow, tells you all you need to know. Devon can win if Levan fails for some reason particular to Levan, it's not a contest when it comes to individual ability. But to get where he is now Levan may have paid a huge price with his health while Devon has a better chance of ageing gracefully. Ermes did show everyone the way though, you get a block and you gas the giant out. Until someone of his size comes around Levan's biggest enemy is his own relative lack of stamina.

If Devon can survives the first round, then he has a much better chance winning. Levan's weakness is endurance. His massive body requires lots of oxygen and he quickly runs out of steam. The Ermes proved that. By the last round Levan looked like he was going to pass out.
Seeing them side by side makes me believe Devon has less of a chance than I originally thought. Levan is built like a grizzly bear. His arms are the size of people's legs, and his forearms are bigger than Devons biceps. 😂😂 I am still hoping Devon wins, though.

I'm not buying it. I don't see how this matchup is fundamentally any different than the last one. Devon's the best version of himself, fine, but it was man v boy last time, and there's no way Devon has closed that gap. Maybe he gets a stop, fine, but Ermes got some stops, and got zero pins on Levan. I fully expect it to be 2-0 before Devon could sniff a stop.
Devon’s only chance is to get him tired, so he must not to get crushed right away.

It is sometimes due to training more only one arm specifically to prepare it better so the pump and muscles are bigger. A lot if arm wrestlers also can look like crabs with uneven claws because they train and dedicate so much for that one arm. And rarely there are people with uneven arms naturally.

It would be great to see Devon when a few rounds, but honestly, Levan is going to do the same thing he did last time. Maximum mass and power, and going to overwhelm Devon early. If Devon is able to get a stop in each of the first 3 rounds, he has a chance. As we seen with Ermes, Levan uses a lot of oxygen in that big body and lacks stamina which is Devon's strong point, so Devon could win the later rounds if Levan cannot hold up like with Ermes.
