That's a great way to do every day for every badminton lovers! I am from china working abroad, badminton is the only way to cure my nostalgia. Thanks for showing these great!
I really appreciate your comment... I'm searching for motivation to make more videos at the moment and that helps a lot! But... Both? Did I miss something?
Thanks for the appreciation! How exactly would you define agility? Range of Motion? There's some videos that I would certainly put in that category. Some more videos are planned, but not as there next videos...
Please say the time duration and rest because I didn't understand what u have written please explain clearly. And how many sets we need to do for each one?
really depends on what you want to achieve... some suggestions are work [sec] : rest [sec] 40:20 30:30 10:20 7:14 maybe have a look at my 5 minutes for speed video of you want to train speed endurance and the 30:30 interval training if you're more going for stamina (the work intervals will stay above the anaerobic threshold though).
Did you watch the first 40 second? Especially the part around the 40th second of the video? This should answer your question ;) I also have two more specific videos for speed footwork and for longer durations that I would recommend instead.... th-cam.com/video/4P6fsXJ691s/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/VADa0My1I7M/w-d-xo.html

Thanks and enjoy the workout. There's also two separate videos with these and some more exercises differentiating between longer and shorter intervals on my channel.
Thank you! No, I don't have one (yet). Technique videos are not my focus, but if there's some interest, I might chance that. It's on my list (now). 🙃 Any other suggestions?
@@PlayFasterThanYourShadow yeah. There are so many different grips for net shots, smash, slice, reverse slice, drop. Found similar videos but found it very hard to understand. Hope yours can be as good as u did for the footwork. Very easy to understand and follow. Seems to be more practical
That's what I'm trying, but it's not always easy. Thank you for that feedback, it really is nice to read things like that. Grips are not all that complicated, putting in words with all that terminology is what makes it complicated. I'm think about it, because technique certainly is not my focus, but it does for to a topic that has been wandering through my head for some time now.
@@PlayFasterThanYourShadow Haha, I also can't do more than you showed in the video 😁 But it's a great footwork & coordination exercise I also use with my players sometimes as a warmup 👍
As a 38yrs old guy , mediocre player , I found this clip is really helpful. I'm training with this clip , just sikp the last 2 excercises because of some knee issues. It would saved my life from boredom during home quarantine.
And the better you get, the faster you get... these exercises don't depend a lot on skill/age! A rather mild full without routine to follow along will come soon!
Please suggest time duration for intermediate player. Bcz u train ur players in ur academy so better u know. Now I am district player under 17 and do these exercise (30 sec work :30 sec rest ) each exercise 3 set I do. But I am preparing for next level so please advice me time duration according to that level. I hope u understand my request. Lots of love from India🇮🇳.
You cannot do both at the same time... you have to choose. Or have a look at my "5 Minutes for speed" and "30 - 30 interval training" videos, they're more refined and targeted towards different goals.
How does that help with footwork? I'm a beginner and want to get better to have more fun. I thought footwork refers to the technique used to move across the court.
foot work -> feet working, not only technique, also the actual work that you can train with these exercises... have a look at my other videos for some footwork technique
Haha... I have many different shoes (Kason, Victor, Yonex, Mizuno, Asics), so I had to have a look at that video again to see it. It's an older Victor shoe, P9100, I think... maybe even P9000? I'll switch to ADIDAS once the shipment arrives. Shoes must fit your feet. Many brands will have a more light weight and a heavier range with better cushioning and maybe even more than that. Are you looking for a new pair? What caught your interest in these?
@@robertlockley4555 I'm not sure if they are still available somewhere. I didn't find them anywhere in Germany when I was looking quite some time ago, but maybe you can still find them somewhere. No off-court-training will replace on court training. This will help you to move your feet quickly, especially if you add it to you on-court training.
