Hey guys! Here is how I do makeup on clients! I've been doing so much makeup lately on clients that it's been taking away from me uploading regularly to youtube. So today, with the permission of my prom girl, I filmed myself working on her! She wanted a very dramatic glam look- a glitter cut crease eye! This is the process that I use while working on clients and it's a process that works for me. Chanel Talbert and that's what makes her a good/true artist. The average white makeup artist isn't the best at color matching darker skin. I work in the beauty industry, I've seen some things lol.

sis you slayed her face. I appreciate how you took in consideration that she is a darker tone. but watch out for that yellow setting powder if you leave it too long it leaves that yellowy cast. but overall you did a good job. Keep slaying :)

random question, how do you clean a pallet after using it on a client? .-. I've always wondered lol
jackie carrillo thank you Jackie!🙏🏼❤ And you can clean it by taking a Kleenex and wiping the shadows- just once from right to left, or left to right (that's how they taught us at Sephora🤗).
jackie carrillo hi im a CERTIFIED MUA and her answer is incorrect! NEVER take a kleenex to clean the palette.. doing so is spreading germs from one section to another! they have a cleaning solution called Beautysoclean that you spray on the shadows and allow to dry. this spray kills bacteria and germs and does not ruin the shadows. you xan also take hydrogen peroxide and dilute it with water and use as well. but definitely DO NOT do as she said! dont know if she's even accredited or licensed but shes def wrong babes
I usually don't respond to comments like this, but Girl, you TRIED it. 1) she asked ME. Not you. 2) You don't have to be "licensed" in the state of Illinois, you just need proper training. And I have years of training from Sephora. 3) If you look up how to clean an eye shadow palette, the first step is to wipe the top layer of germs off with a dry Kleenex. If you want to remove any additional germs that may be lingering, THEN you can bring in 91% rubbing alcohol. So I would say, Sephora taught me properly. 4) Any woman that feels the need to try to downplay another woman in order to make herself look better (like you just tried to do me) NEEDS PRAYER. Good day sweetie!

I loved the look, all the right tones and you still made her look youthful even with all the glam. On average how long do you take to do their makeup?
Thank you! Times vary. I can do as quick as 65 minutes. Or as long as 90 minutes. Usually glitter cut creases are more on the 80-90 minute side because its so detailed.
