    The coaster is looking great! Don't worry about the janky supports - that is actually just the game struggling with generating wooden supports, not an issue with your placement. They always get a bit odd when the coaster crosses itself

    Thank you Blarla for another Parkitect episode, I’ve really been enjoying these! I hope you’re having a nice evening. Take care of yourself and the kitties! Puma says hello as he’s watching with me, lying in my lap.

    I really love the movement in this game. Like how when you drag or click the plants react? Very satisfying

      I love that also. The player feedback is great, so well polished and smooth to play.

    Hi Blarla, loving the park. Hope you don't mind if I offer a little advice :-)
    A way to make the planting more natural is to randomly rotate it between placing. Just adds to natural effect.
    Also the general shops that you can use to sell anything work really well if you put them in a building, as they won't clip like the specific shops do.
    Looking forward to the next episode. :-)

      Hi, thanks but not to worry, these are things I know. I knew someone would raise the shops but my thought was they don't ultimately clip through in my current designs so haven't concerned myself with it. It is less clicks and hassle to place the preform ones. I was thinking of demonstrating the use of the plain ones in a later park. I find it good to try new things to show as the series progresses. I haven't used the plain shops yet and thought that could be a different project for another park when an idea really benefits from using them.
      I do rotate many things before placing them. Mostly rocks, as many of the plants that aren't the same on all sides tend to alter themselves between clicks, but even then, in locations where I feel it matters, I have rotated them. It took hours to make this episode, so again, less clicks helps overall and it isn't like I ever plan to share these parks online, so in spammed places, like those tunnels, I worry less about it, as these aren't places one would spend time looking at closely and many things there are layered, which helps hide stuff.
      I edit out a lot of stuff for time, but a good place to see me rotating things when placing a lot, where I figured it would be more noticeable, and left in an episode, are the rocks along the first train station against the lake, a couple of episode back. As each rock is clearly viable, I haven't layered stuff over the top, so rotation felt more important. Whereas the tunnels have so much stuff built up over them that rotating many of the things was really not needed. Plus, many of the plants alter themselves. Something I noticed when making big, spammed bushes.

    Seeing all this rock work makes me think of the song "rock lobster" by the B-52s. Just saying. The scenery is awesome though.

    I placed the same roller coaster in the same spot but I had mine painted the traditional white. Then that inspired me to make the station into an English Colonial farm house. It's just like the use has always been there but the roller coaster built around it later. I think for yours, if you want to add more to it, looks more natural and you could try and make look more like a lumber mill. Pretend that all the cars are taking the logs out from the forest area and the station is the mill where the planks are made.

      I thought about it. Was going for possible landmarks and business for the sort of age. But decided in the end that the tech would be too advanced, hauling logs or even coal (was another thought I had) was just wrong era for what I have been going for. That being said, I was so lost for idea with the queuing system for the rollercoaster that I went pretty traditional theme park. XD So who knows what I'm thinking at any given time. lol

      I remember now! I then thought that a mine cart thing would be better in the cowboy park which I plan to do next!

    Are you sure it was a trash cute you meant to place there and not a depot?

    • @Blarla
      @Blarla  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. I'm making them walk all that way anyway because I said I couldn't be bothered to place a staff room. The depot offers the same issue when confronted with the space and effort. The trash chute was easy, so in it went.

    Wait one fartyfiddling minute, is this by the same ppl as Two Points Hopsital?

    • @Blarla
      @Blarla  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It isn't, BUT I can totally see why that would spring to mind. This game is SO much like Theme Park, that it isn't a leap to think this was made by the Two Point peeps. Two Point only have Hospital currently, they are working on a new game though, excited for that! ^^
