At the beginning of this year the Holy Spirit gave me the word “joy”. It’s been one of the hardest years. At times I wondered, where’s the joy he spoke of? Now I see he was trying to teach me that I can have joy no matter the circumstance. The joy of the Lord is my strength.

Candace I wanted to tell you don't be discouraged about what's going on in the media. There are so many that support you and believe in the same things that you're standing up for even though the world is giving you backlash. It's not easy to live for God especially living publicly like you do.

Wow.. God has really bestowed Candace with a lot of Grace…that’s so spot on- totally reflects the Holy Spirit. I had to endure endless hardships to believe in the way that she says.. even while I lay awake middle of the night having trouble trying to resolve a difficult circumstance- expressing my disappointment to God. Wow. I’m without much wisdom in my communications..causing me pain. Learning never stops.

Amen Candace!! I have recently began to not only read my devotion of the day but seek the Lord and His plan for just this DAY!!! And I have found myself becoming a different person in Jesus, some days I spend several hours & some days several minutes praying, seeking (not just His Word but through preaching from Pastors in whom I am fed), and finding a New me through Jesus!! The greatest thing that I have found is that He will truly become ALIVE in you and for you, He is and has always been right there with you just waiting for you/me to desire to get in His Presence!!!

Praise Worship music helps me find Joy on bad days. It’s hard to be depressed or sad when you’re singing spiritual songs and praising God for all the good things he’s done for us.

Trying to find Joy in the circumstances is so hard. We as a family are still waiting for the ability to be able to buy a home. We have 2 small toddlers and now a baby on the way and we live in a 1 bedroom basement apartment. We were supposed to be out of here a couple years ago but we just keep getting slammed with things that drain any savings we do get to save. We have to use the food bank now. It’s hard but you know what, we are happy. We are joyful. We are so thankful that we at least have a roof over our head. We know that God will eventually provide a bigger home for us but until then, we have God and each other and that’s truly all we need. If you’re struggling, start finding your joy in the little things. Thank God for the blessings you do have. Keep praying and leaning on him. You can get through these difficult times. God will help you and is helping you even if you can’t see it right away. I’m praying for everyone going through difficult times that god will guide you through and bless you abundantly. That he will heal you and carry you.

My circumstances are not good at the minute. I let my depression get to me which has been effecting my work. My benefits are messed up and I am in a mess. Thank you for this video as I am going to try and pray and keep joyful. I need prayer
The Devil chooses his timing. He is a liar and a deceiver. He attacks us when we are Hungry, Angry, Lonely and Tired......HALT stop and think. I am not vulnerable to let this put me down in Jesus name, amen. 🙏
God wants us to have true Joy through the mountains and valleys of our journey in this life. Seek, and you will find Him. Cling to Him and he will give you Joy, Peace, Hope, and rest.
The apostle Peter wrote, “There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while.These trials will show that your faith is genuine. My partner is very sick with pneumonia and because of so many health limits he may die...I have many people praying for ed and our children. We are broken at the thought of losing ed..we love so much
I get this, so I want to tell you what I learned. Depression is a spirit, but not a spirit of the Lord. Which means you have authority over it. Don't let it sit at your table. Speaking the Word is powerful, so quote what the Bible says outloud.

_LORD, thank YOU for YOUR protection and guidance all these years. YOU have fed and clothed me. YOU have been my light in times of darkness and confusion. I pray to ask for strength today. I have hit a difficult period in my life. I dont have a stable job and my responsibilities are piling up. Everywhere I turn I see a shut door. Everytime I seek help, I get judged and mocked. Idk where our next meal is coming from. Everything I try to do falls flat on the face. I am almost to give up here. I do not want to turn to sinful ways to make money. Help me get over this hump. Help me recover from this debt. Give me hope and help me and my family overcome poverty. In Jesus' mighty name I pray. Amen._ 🙏

I love these two! So true! Joy is a choice to focus on Christ and the blessings of being saved and knowing God is with you! The bible says to focus on things above. My kids see the world and ask mom, shouldn't we be worried about this or that? And I answer nope, we belong to God no matter what happens!
I just remind myself that Jesus Loves me and He Will Bless me. It’s All I Need.

Had a conversation with my pastor recently and stated how I was aware lately of how many times He saved m life. Pastor said, and, how many times you didn’t know about. Same thing when I say, Thanks Jesus for some known occurrence, how many things has He really done. JOY 👏🙌🙌🙌

My life has been extremely challenging and difficult in many ways BUT I have learned through experience to trust God firmly. It's such an amazing blessing to be able to use this perspective with the help of God because I've been on the opposite end of it in depression for many years. It was never a good feeling with that. I can say though that God is amazing 😊 in what he does. The JOY OF THE LORD IS MY 💪STRENGTH! HALLELUJAH!
