  • It's time for a build off! In this Junkyard Wars -esque budget build off challenge, Ike and Charles build TWO trikes out of a few of our abandoned projects. They use a Honda CB750 chassis with no engine, and a yard kart chassis for their projects. Charles builds a tricycle type 3 wheeler, and Isaac builds a reverse trike 3 wheeler.

maybe a way to fix the reverse trike would be to make it front engined and not have it 5 miles above the rear wheel lmao
would be a pain to make a drivetrain for it though, would almost have to make a driveshaft under the floor of it with a few bevel gears (maybe off an old hand powered drill?) to get the power to the rear wheel, but then that would obviously come with having to make a cover for it or only drive it on asphalt. given the grip of the rear wheel maybe that would be for the better though.

Those twin rooster tails at 17:51 are my favorite image of this surprisingly hilarious video!
Next yall should make an inline three wheeler with both rear wheels daisy chained together. Could ne the greatest drag bike or hill climber anyone's ever seen!

Isaac, what that trike needs is a bar with wheels at the ends of them, to prevent it from tipping onto its side. You could weld it to the frame behind the seat.

I enjoy the builds like this , take objects and convert them into things they were never intended to be .👍

I instantly knew, Ike was going to need a jackshaft, or 670 V-Twin, to turn the gear ratio he chose.🤪
FYI: whenever you are using just a centrifical clutch, with a 12 or 13 tooth primary sprocket, awh, hell, even a 9 tooth primary sprocket, then the secondary sprocket on the axle has to be damn near the same diameter of the drive wheels. You usually want a primary reduction between a 9:1, to 13:1 ratio. I figured y'all would know that, seeing all the go-karts, and mini bikes, especially
All those old mini bikes, where the tire was almost the exact size of the rear sprocket, LOL
