I didn't include my criticisms as I love nearly every single thing about the game, but a few very small things that I think could improve it are:
- Audio Balance. It's not bad at all, but some music tracks, like when talking to Toadstool/Maddie were louder compared to the rest of the game. Not really a big issue, just something small
- Menu Selection, specifically in Maddie/Toadstool's sections. I found myself accidentally selecting "Exit Menu" like 3 times in a row trying to mash through their intro dialogue to change settings/buy items. The cursor is defaulted to "Exit Menu", so I went in then out like 4 times accidentally. If the cursor could somehow default to nothing it would be a nice small change
- Tree platforms. There's a couple times when you have to jump on trees to advance. Their collision boxes are a little smaller compared to the size of the trees
- Dash Attack. It's a little TOO good. It's laggy so it leaves you a bit vulnerable, but most enemies besides bees/the water snake can be easily defeated by spamming it. This one isn't really a flaw and more of an opinion.
- Save data. They purposely left it out of the demo since it's so short, but it would definitely be appreciated
- Minor Bugs. After getting a game over, I didn't select either option and instead backed out (pressed B?). This caused the game to soft lock. Maybe it was just a one time bug, but who knows.

Dude this was great! You even caught so many of the little Amphibia (and Kirby!) references like the SJMS song, Jonah in the background, and the brown spiders from the original takeover video. Glad you liked the game, and thanks so much for making a video about it! Made my day.

I once thought Marcy’s journal was the last thing holding the Amphibia fandom from chaos. I was proven wrong.
I think they should add Marcy's journal if you found any creature, they will be added to the journal.
"My only weakness: DYING!" I love that they added that Owl House reference.
We should make a Owl House game based on Hogwarts Legacy.
But with Dana Terrace’s elements added instead of JK Rowling’s influence or Disney’s influence.
Just pure Dana magic and Owl House majesty.

Hey, its Myles, one of the music composers for this game. I'm so glad you enjoyed the music that I and the rest of the music team worked on. I especially loved hearing you jam to my arrangement of the Saint James Middle School Theme at 1:05. That was one of the first tracks I ever composed and it really means a lot. Beyond the look out for the more music when the game is fully released. My team and I are working hard to produce more exciting music for your frog-like adventures. I even plan to make re-records of the demo tracks I originally made for the final game. Thanks for enjoying the demo, Zeez.

That theme was so good! Honestly one of my favorites haha. Something about being put into a retro style just feels so right. I can't wait to listen to some of the other jams you and the others will come up with. Good luck on the rest of the game!

This game is ANOTHER proof that dedicated fans are more creative than the actual team in some cases.
This game is so much better then the original.
Also I think I noticed that whenever the anne spirte does the punch, her eyes glow the same blue from her clamity form! Nice attention to detail.

This game looks great and sounds great, I can't wait to see the full version. I wonder if they'll do a The Owl House one as well?
That actually happens with several of her moves. Most notably her sword attacks.
I really hope this game gets more attention that it deserves

I like how Anne and Spring and a few more characters use their look from the theme song takeover where Sprig and Anne were playing a game. That Sprig kept dying at.

my ONLY problem with it is the background/land because your character is pixel art but the rest look like its from unity so maby if it made it look a bit like borderlands 2 art style with how it all kind of looks like it is from comics then yea i would definitly cough up some money for it(yes i know its just a demo)

I think the frobots only explode when they're defeated, so if you're too close after defeating them they can still take a chunk of your hp

I just played the game and man it's so fun , and I found out you can play online with your friends using this thing parsec which is freaking amazing! I hope they finish this game it has potential and it's just amazing that the fanbase of Amphibia has taken their time to create this. In other words, great game can't wait to see what they do next.

I loved the little owl house reference and all the kirby references those were really cute
I mean, this is amazing, and clear dedication, love, and more! I'm just distracted by the lack of graphical consistency between the environments, the sprites, and the character portraits. It just clashes
16:18 I love how the sprite of Polly rolling is a recolor of Sonics Spindash sprite which is just perfect with how much it is a Sonic reference in the show
