This short was made alongside Sam Peare and Sarah Jacob for our University College Cork film and screen media final-year graduation project.
The music was done by the incredibly talented Mathias Levy Valensi and William Troy and the film couldn't have been achieved without the help of the amazing cast.

    David Peare as Declan
    Alison Johnson as Bridget

Beautiful film. I wish I could talk with my dad that way. What I would give to see him and talk with him one more time.

A lovely story thank you very much. Just one question, when the lad was sitting on the settee, before the phone rang initially, Nana’s box looked huge next to him on the floor, was this meant to be significant? It was only when he got up I realized it was the same size and on the table. I thought that was quite clever, importance wise.

hi catherine, thanks so much for the comment !! we really wanted to make it seem more imposing and kept it closer to the camera for this reason (as a physical manifestation of his grief) so i'm so glad it made you feel that way :)

Very nice. Wouldn't that be amazing if we could talk on the phone to those who have passed?

Poignant and deeply meaningful. And a very unusual and interesting 'narrative' technique. Great thanks from India.
