First game on I managed 6 kills with the AJ. Died to a head on R73 from an Su-39 that I had even preflared/flared right at launch. Wasn't a straight head on either missile had to pull hard. Real cool.

The 9ms are insane I love them they are smokeless and you can't even see them lol I got so many kills last night literally 6 missles 6 kills idk what's going on but people forgot how to flare
The 73s are definitely cracked but I find that its kinda 50/50 if they want to actually thrust vector correctly. Sometimes as soon as you launch it off the rail it will pull a full 90 degree turn to hit a target and other times it will just act like an R60. I've had one pull so hard that it lost control and just started tumbling to the ground lol

the reseach points have been lowered yes but i found out the reseach points you get for "time played" has been halfed i got 2.5k before the update in 8 minutes now its 1.6k per 8 minutes same activity so gaijin buffed and nerfed the research without telling us AGAIN

I have only encountered 9M once And in that situation I couldn't flare it from head on aspect. I think I had to give it a side aspect but I didn't even know it was a 9M. Just went low incase it was radar missile and flared a couple of times if it was IR. Both failed
9M works like a stinger Flare is detected = seeker is off = travel by inertial guidance = enable the seeker back on People don't know how to flare it... so in a lot of situations... 9M is better then R-73 R-73 just makes it's FOV super tiny after launch but it's still active seeker... if it sees a flare it goes for flare lol
its really not fun. and apparently gaijing icnreased rp earnings but i played a few games and im getting the same ammount of rp as before update. uninstalled the game and wont be playing it for a long time

Love how these missiles can fight F4Js and the Tornado and Mirage F1and AJS37 and... Yeah list goes on. I love how every single 11.3 just became entirely unplayable. Like before they were just sorta bad to play but I could still get decent work done in a F4J, now they are entirely unplayable. Not only does everyone have infinitely better flight performance then you but also missiles you literally cant doge in any way from any angle. Why cant they just make 13.0
It`s also great that alot of the 11.3s like the F4's doesn't even have all aspect IR missiles and the radar is not that competitive to the top tier ones
@@geerdi5222 jets like F-4S, without all aspect IRs, with mediocre radars are dead. I aint touching any of my 11.3s until they move all mig-29s and F-16s higher
US has the best IR missiles. Aim9Ls and even python 3s for israel are extremely good. Also America gets 6 or 8 AIM 7F radar missiles in their pylons while Russians only get two slots for radar missiles

Considering I've seen clips of r-73 killing people in every conceivable way and at every angle and speed I'm inclined to say that the average person won't dodge an r73 buy just turning off after burner and flaring most of the time
From my experience with Su25BM, R73s work best if you fire them off at very far end of the gimbal limit (almost breaking the lock) because it appears that they ignore flares 99% of the time in that case.
How do you have the SMT on patch day with all the modules unlocked? Even if you are a creator, tell me what the process is to you having all this grind gone on day fucking 1. EVEN IF it is all GE I want to know how much in total.

And our only comparable bvr missile can avoided by anyone with 2 brain cells. But amraams or 7MH’s/P2’s would be to much

I just got the f-16 ADF thanks to the update, and the SMT is a surprisingly good counter to it. It's really fun to dogfight the SMT.
Why surprising? It's better than the previous versions that were already good counters.

So I’ve found out you I can select which side you want the r73 to come off of. Left or right wing, this had alleviated that problem
