  • In today’s business world, employees are no longer told what to do. Gone are the days that an employee only acts with what is tasked for the day without the chance of innovation and the days when an employee only functions in a narrow perspective. Today, we seek to inspire and empower our employees to help in successfully aid in taking charge of a company’s development.
Forbes defines an effective leader to be “capable of articulating a powerful, positive and compelling vision for organizational and individual growth and who can generate trust and support to execute a vision.”
A leader in today’s business world is someone who not only has an empowering vision but knows exactly how to get there and that getting there can only be achieved through a collaborative effort between him and his employees.

I have realised that in all your videos there is always more presence of male drawings and, when female characters appear, they are to represent customers, customer service or human resource (tasks related to social skills) but they never represent lead roles or technical skills. See the example in 3:01 of this video. I think it would be very beneficial and appreciated if you start using male and female drawings indistinctively to help reduce gender stereotypes.

ISO is not an acronym, we were taught to pronounce it like we pronounce the isosceles triangle or isobar.

Hi May, you're right about ISO being pronounced like the 'iso sceles' triangle. However ISO is derived from the parent organisation:
ISO - International Organization for Standardization
      www.iso.org/
We're ISO, the International Organization for Standardization. We develop and publish International Standards.

Hi there! I do pronounce ISO the same way as you. However, it is an acronym that stands for, "International Organization for Standardization," or, more logically, "International Standardization Organization." With this in mind, I suppose that pronouncing it I.S.O. wouldn't technically be incorrect. I hope this helps.
