Congratulations! (Both for the New Year and for the Staub Piece)
As a Le Creuset person I like bright, happy, light colors so I like this.
It think is sold in Europe. It is called Ice Blue. In the US Blue Glacier as you say so a lot of similarity in the name.
Staub initially had a color palette that had rich serious colors which while looking good in person do not look good on camera.
This one “pops” and looks so good on camera!
I would not cook deep rich stews in it I would cook more vibrant dishes in it.
    And 150$ is a BARGAIN!
I got a very good deal of the 31cm Le Creuset for around 50% off at 187 Euro but 150$ is amazing!
    Happy Cooking!

Thanks BT!!!! It is so interesting to find out what’s being offer in Europe. I must say my camera really captured the true color of this cocotte. Congrats to your new Le Creuset!!! Happy cooking to both of us! As always thanks for watching!😊

Happy New Year. That is a really good looking color, it looks like Le creuset colors.
It is funny that yesterday I was wondering if you are going to upload soon, thought that you would buy a new Staub piece to start the new year!! So you did not disappoint me!!

This is such a beautiful color! Did you go to an actual factory outlet store, or did you order from a factory outlet online?

    Is this a Majolique color?

So nice! That color is actually called “French blue” at sur la table. Staub sometimes has different names for the same color, I know the color that Williams Sonoma calls “cranberry” also goes by another name other places, I think it’s Bordeaux maybe? It can get very confusing! I’ve never seen that light blue in person, times times in the photos it looks kinda cheap (not sure that’s the best description lol) but it doesn’t look that way at all in your video! Does it look really nice in person?

Thank you for verifying the color. I remember seeing some where that this color was called French blue. I know what you mean about the color difference between seeing it in person vs seeing it in photos. Surprisingly my camera really captured the true color of this cocotte. So it looks as great in person as in the video. Thanks for watching!!! 😊

Too much??? I have over 30 Staub pieces(I think I chose to stop counting after that) and I still try to justify buying more - especially when they are on sale. Chowhound is the culprit.

I wash thinking that it reminds me of the Porsche Color “Miami Blue” 🙂

REQUEST: Crispy Soup Noodles-they are served on top of soups. Years ago the strips were cooked in oil & put in wax bags. Now they are manufactured in warehouses. Brooklynites are Craving the Old World handmade ones. Any direction is greatly appreciated.

Hi Gina, I think I know what you are talking about. The one that I had when I was younger, the crispy soup noodles were cut wider and it was fried in house using wax paper bag for packaging.
