Excellent review! I'm truly impressed by how Bellroy can make me want every new bag after already owning 10+ of them. Love this brand and your thorough reviews as well!
I am in love with this bag!! Finally one that doesn't feel like a brick because of its form factor. Also, love the thin strap and its pockets. All around winner in my book!!🔥🔥
I switched from Bellroy's city pouch to the lite sacoche. I needed something water resistant and slightly larger to carry a hard glasses case. I love it! I like how much more the sacoche holds and that it can sit on a surface without falling over. The material is light and easily packable. Testing it out in Seattle and Alaska on the next vacay.
Grabbed one of these to have something a little more spacious than the newest Venture sling. Needed something that has a bit more organization but still lets you drop some things in and forget about it.
I’m not really a Sacoche lover but this looks very nice, I see Bellroy is learning about inner organization from another brands like Alpaka and Aer because now they´re putting more pockets, dividers and sections for a good organization for your stuff instead of just making a big bag to shove your stuff and struggle to find everything after doing it. It’s just for the essential stuff like wallet, phone, car keys and other everyday goodies. Nice review!
The stretchy pockets should be in front as it expands away from the body. In the back of you out in larger items in the stretch pockets, it expand into the body uncomfortable. Big oversight on this one.
I hear frequent quality issue testimonials over on the ManyBaggers Subreddit, where Bellroy is nowadays considered overpriced for the quality you get, to put it nicely. For instance, on this other sling of theirs with the oddly slim buckles on either side of the belt, those are known to frequently break, seams frequently ripping on backpacks... If you’re out of their warranty you’re out of luck, if you’re still covered up they’ll mostly just send you a replacement. Those paracord belt loops look extremely worrisome to me as a point of failure. I’d rather get a Tom Bihn with a similar form factor.
It would be great to hide under a jacket or the like. Id have agree what was sad about the pooe quality/safety of the strapping. Be great to use as a pull out bag from your pack or underseat bag for inflight items. Great video tho.
I have the city pouch plus which has literally the same straps, and it's an overreaction that its poor quality or safety. Been using it for a year straight now everyday and there's nothing to worry about. Sometimes they just need something to say in reviews, don't forget that lol
I don’t agree. Once you buy and actually start using few of Bellroy products, you will quickly realize how each bag has its own area of use. Bellroy knows there’s no one-fits-all solution, and they fine-tune their products for various use-cases. And it’s always huge pleasure to use ✨
As one of the largest bag companies, it's acceptable to spread your wings and have a ton of options, similar to how Aer has a massive product line as a result of being one of the most renowned bag companies.
I bought this bag a while ago when it was on sale. I had other Bellroy bags already and basically just wanted sth smaller. What can I say. I just HATED the strap. How flimsy and impractical can it get? This is maybe the worst strap on a bag I've seen from any manufacturer. So. I cut it off. Yes. I cut it off. Put PD anchor clips on it and use it with my PD Leash. Which fits me in length (one of the biggest issue I have with Bellroy, their straps are mostly too short for big people) and is just more comfortable in general. But tbh, for the pricepoint one shouldn't have to do that. Lite or not, the strap should be better. It's not worth the 65 Euros it normally costs.

Polite suggestion 🙏 it would be really helpful if you could say the price (at least at the time of recording) during your review videos. Thanks 💜

Bellroy has too many sling options, it’s a bit confusing.
I agree
Because they're confused company.

@@xmartinl My only experience with bellroy is their wallets (of which I own a few). So perhaps you’re right.

can it fit an iPad 10th gen?
Probably not. If you’re wanting something for that, you’ll want a sling that’s larger than 6L in capacity. This is just for small EDC stuff.
What’s the emulator??
The Pocket Go!
What emulator is that? :)
It's a Pocket Go! 😃
Slings annoy me. Bring back the satchel.
