Please someone help me! I woke up & my fish’s wen is GONE!!!! It looks like his brain/head literally exploded!!!! The ENTIRE WEN IS GONE!!!!! There is blood & fleshy bits & omg yesterday I saw a “string” of some kind stuck to his head & I remember wishing I could remove it cuz it looked annoying but I wasn’t sure how as I’m not good at handling fish & I figured it would just fall off went to bed. But when I woke up this morning & went to feed the fish my favourite fish was missing his wen!!! He is only a small guy less than a year old but he was my favourite 😭 he is all white with an orange wen but omg his wen is gone WTF IS GOING ON?!?! It looks so gross & im so sad idk what to do!! I think my massive goldfish saw the string hanging/floating from the little guys head thought it was a worm & took a bite! I think my big fish ate my little fishes wen!!! My filter is not powerful enough for this particular fish to get stuck so I’m pretty sure the big fish did it!!! Please what do I do! I only have the one tank, the fish must be in pain. Will he grow a new wen? PLEASE HELP ME!! 😭😭
I've got a great idea stop breeding these poor mutant fish and then they won't need to be "trimmed" poor things! Ps goldfish are my all time favourite aquarium fish but some of the varieties should definitely be thaized out
Damian Owens It doesn’t hurt the fish to trim them, I don’t think that they should not be kept for this reason but I do think they should be bred to have smaller wens. I’m not trying to come off as rude but wens are just skin flaps essentially that’s all.
@@the_tea05 wrong it's been bread to look like that, I've been keeping fish all my life and I used to work in an aquarium shop I know how these things get to this stage the same as lots of domestic animals selective breeding and in breeding, not good!!!
