- The following video shows the encounter with the second of the three major bosses in Darkest Dungeon: The Crimson Court - the Viscount. The party used against the boss focuses on dealing high damage and is capable of easily healing wounds and/or stress damage.

The deformed second body inside of him has some disturbing implications. It could either be what's left of his human body and the flea thing we see is a gross flea shaped tumor wearing human clothes... Or it's someone he ate whole and is somehow fused with him.
Either option is equally revolting
It's terrifying to think that there is somebody alive within the viscount
King Fancy I always assumed that the person within him was just what's left of his human body, and that the bug-like thing on the outside was a cancerous growth caused by the curse
For me these bodies are more terryfying or more specific their scream.

Not really, the crimson court courtyard layout is that of what is classified as an EPIC dungeon. It spans so much that instead of a retreat, it's more over a regroup option, so you can go on as many trips into the courtyard mission to complete it as long as you have at least one invitation per trip into the courtyard until you defeat the boss, which then you will need to get a new invitation to the next boss mission in the courtyard.
What I meant was that when the Man-At-Arms flipped out, the little box explaining what afflictions are showed up. That shows up the first time you get one in a given FILE.
Given how much time it takes to build up a Viscount-capable party, that takes some doing.

Or some really cautious farming over many weeks, He could just farm up for ages as there is nothing in the game that forces you to go at a certain pace. Maybe this is week 400+ for all we know

I feel like the player is deliberately stretching out the fight for revenue.

Went in with 2 Hounds, a Hellion and a Vestal. The Viscount died just from me opening the door.

Wanted to get that 10 min mark didnt you? Jesus this was actually painful to just watch 1 min to know you were dragging this fight
Get rid of the corpses as fast as you can. He'll just keep healing and buffing himself if you don't. Also his stun resist his terrible, so make sure he isn't actually attacking four times a turn like he can.

Reyga thats what's left of his human form. the rest of it is the curse/infection taking him over
Nuked him in two rounds with a Leper, a Shieldbreaker and a Jester with finale.
Just killed him for the first time. Managed to go the "damage race" route, focusing solely on him. Had a Barbarian die, and a Vestial land the final blow. Vestial was on Death's door, rest of the team really low. I was actually worried he had some special attack if you killed the bodies.
First time getting through a courtyard mission in one go. I was actually expecting a fight similar to the Baron. Boy was I wrong...

Moldy Carrot yea, he played so poorly, all u have to do is just attack him as he can only heal for 50 every 3 rounds.

I think that you shouldn't focus too much to the body as focusing one gave the Viscount time to buff himself up from the other (like Ravenous Feast just negate everything you threw at him and gave him more chance to k.o one of your member right away with the +50% dmg) and that is just not good
Instead, you should have just focus all of your damage and stun to the Viscount alone, end the fight as fast as possible to prevent him to buff up a lot from the 3 bodies
As far as my personal experience go, the Viscount cannot use 1 of the 3 healing move on himself twice in a row (Ex. He can't use Ravenous Feast 3 times in a row to negate all of the damage you dealt to him) so you shouldn't be afraid of him healing up all the time
