- ANOTHER COLORED CONTACTS REVIEW! This is a first impressions since I "unbox" them all with you. I do not need toric colored lenses but they do have them available which is amazing because I used to have astigmatism and it was IMPOSSIBLE to find colored contacts in toric!

Amy Nguyen I keep hearing some mixed reviews, some people say they are just that way but if you wear them long enough your brain processes the color out and you don’t see the cloudy anymore (like how your brain filters out your nose when you always see it!) Because I don’t wear these in order to see (just fashion) I haven’t tried them long enough to know if my brain filters it out yet 😂
Hello, I have a rather interesting question: so I have Astigmatism in both of my eyes(and I don't qualify for Lasik), however I am legally blind in my left eye, so my eye doctor only prescribes me a contact for my right eye. They have my prescription measurements at QC for my right eye, but what should I do about the left side? Should I just make the left side's prescription measurements zero? And if I do, will it fit? Please answer to the beat of your ability. I know you are not a licenced optometrist
I think that’s a better question for your eye doctor to be honest, even though you are legally blind in your left eye it doesn’t mean you don’t have astigmatism which affects the shape of your cornea and therefore the ability for the contact to sit on your cornea in the right place. For me when I got non Toric lenses for my eyes with astigmatism the contacts kept sliding down under my eyeball!

I really liked the gray ones on you! A little bummer that the astigmatism lenses are pricey, but I'm going to have to try some. I used to buy colored circle lenses and I didn't know, but I had astigmatism, and they hurt to wear. I can't believe I did that to myself, lol. Thanks for sharing!
Haha no problem! Yeah the first time I tried circle lenses I didn’t know I needed a special kind for astigmatism - my right one would shift a little but omg my left one would fall all the way down my eyeball till it was half gone! It was scary and definitely hurt a lot!
My right eye has astigmatism and it's uncomfortable to wear regular contacts as for my left eye it's just myopic and wearing contacts is super comfortable like I don't have them
Awe yea you might need just one Toric lens and one regular lens!! When I had astigmatism the toric lenses were really comfy but the regular ones hurt a lot 😭

My contacts PWR is +6.50 I don’t understand what they really means since I’m new to this but I can’t find any contacts with that power.

Hi Jennifer I do exactly the same to my lenses . I keep them in clean contact lenses solution or sterile NaCl regular solution and i have lenses that are over 5 years old and are amazing. The only ones that kind of became enlarged or faded was Fresh look ones. The pattern kind of fades with time.

My base curve is 8.6 and día is 14.5
But some them are 14.2
I’m not sure if that matters, are contacts bigger than the normal ones or smaller
They have a variety of sizes! I think they have both 14.2 and 14.5 to choose from!
Do you mind if i ask what your prescription is and whay your cylinder astigmatism is . For my prescription they dont make colored contacts :(
So I actually got lasik and don’t need a prescription anymore! My cylinder used to be 20 and 120 I think, and non toric lenses did not work for me. They do now make toric colored lenses and these guys carry some! Just a bit pricey :(

so if you have astigmatism you have to wear lenses that are for it ?
Usually people with astigmatism will have a cylinder number on their prescription which does indicate toric lenses (special lenses) because that means they are weighted to sit right on astigmatism eyeballs!

I just had a contact exam and I was told I have sigmatism in both eyes and I couldn’t wear colored contacts so I want to know are they available in prescription I am nearsighted
They do offer toric lenses which are needed for people with astigmatism! They are a bit more expensive but they will be much more comfortable for you!
Can you actually wear them with an astigmatism?
The ones I bought, no, because they were not made for astigmatism, but the site does carry toric lenses so if you have astigmatism make sure to get the toric kind!

The optometrist said that I have astigmatisms, I’ve tried before colored contacts with 0.00 power and it was like everything was foggy and almost like a dream. Then I got from the optometrist prescription colored contacts and they were -70 power and sad to say today I almost cried because even though it was prescription I was seeing foggy and had blurry vision. I don’t know if it’s the astigmatisms that’s the reason why I keep seeing blurry or what’s going on. I really want colored contact lenses soooooo badly, everyone in my family says they see 100% clear with the lenses except me. Please help me!! If I get lasik will I see clear with the contacts???
You have to use toric lenses (colored or not) if you have astigmatism! And you must buy exactly according to your prescription, don’t just guess. Also for lasik it depends on your results, for me it worked out but not all lasik corrects 100% of everything. Definitely ask your eye doctor!

Jennifer Chang were they made for astigmatism or just regular ones? is after getting the surgery you can wear any contacts easily?
Touch of gold was a regular (not astigmatism)! I didn’t order any Toric lenses. Contacts after surgery depends on how it went and what kind of surgery you got, the eye doctor said my eyes healed fine and I can wear contacts but everyone should check with their doctor first!

I got the femptolaser lasik (not prk). I had really bad astigmatism and they fixed that too!
Are they reliable & safe to use for astigmatism? I want to buy colored contacts but I want to make sure this website is reliable first.
The ones I have are not astigmatism but I have had no issues, so I can only infer that the astigmatism ones are fine as well! So few places have colored contacts for people with astigmatism 😭 you could buy one pair first and try it!!

I currently wear glasses. I’m in 6th grade but I really really want to wear colored contact lenses . I also have blurred vision and can’t see things that are far away (astigmatism). I want hazel lens’s . Is it appropriate for me to wear them, I’m really mature and I’m 12. If so, what are some good sites I can buy them at? ❤️❤️💜💙
Hey hey! I think you should ask your eye doctor for a prescription and recommendations! Your eyes are not done developing so we want to be extra careful!

I personally haven’t had issues with their contacts, but you should always consult with an eye doctor before trying new contact lenses!
I tried these lenses after watching your videos and I have to say that their customer service is horrible. I ordered my lenses and they sent the wrong prescription. I tried submitting a ticket and they pretty much said there was nothing they could do about it so now I am out $200. Maybe the next time you speak with them let them know they need to work on their customer service. As I am really livid.There is also an entire blog on how horrible they treat their new customers. But on the flip side, I enjoyed watching your video, Desio just doesn't care about their customers. Lesson learned

They take some getting used to for sure. I started wearing glasses in 4th or 5th grade and switched to contacts in 8th grade, and wore contacts for the next 10 years! My husband is kinda like you tho he doesn’t like the idea of contacts so he’ll just forever wear glasses haha

Hi there! I have not personally had issues with these contacts and colored contacts have existed in Korea and Japan for a long time (much longer than here). I guess I have no way of “guaranteeing” that they are safe because I’m not familiar with their governing bodies and how they regulate the production of these, so if you are wary I would recommend only purchasing US ones from reputable brands!

I think it’s different for everyone and depends on what procedure you get! I haven’t had a problem with contacts after lasik but I checked with my optometrist first!

Awe 😔 usually toric lenses are more expensive (even regular contacts without color) and that was one of the reasons I got lasik because I was sick of spending so much on contacts for astigmatism!

Yes!!!! You’ll have to go in for a consultation to see if yours is correctable but they totally fixed mine!

none of them look natural
