Rep. Lou Correa Voices Supports Reforming The Veterans' Benefit Process

Rep. Lou Correa voices his deep support for H.R.2288 - Veterans Appeals Improvement and Modernization Act of 2017. This bill would create multiple appeals processes to increase the VA's ability to quickly respond to veterans' benefits claims. Currently, veterans' can wait up to 5 years for a benefit claim to be answers. This piece of legislation hopes to end that.
