listening in March 2024, i’ll come back to watch this video for every like it gets😭❤️❤️ i miss these years mehn, we can never get them back again, all we have is memories
I first heard this song the day I had interview with the German embassy at Vi I way in 2005. This song brought tears down my cheeks because I was denied the visa that year . Rest in peace bro 😢
RIP Sound Sultan. More than two decades later and we're yet to get the formula right. This is me paying my respect to a great legend. Your name lives on!
So sad I was too young to understand them or be a fan then. No be prophecy oh. The painful reality is that what is happening now was happening then. Nigeria have off engine since, and we have all been stagnant in these conditions our musicians sang about.
This song is still valid today as it was 13 years ago. An extremely lyrically talented genius, yet humble and down to earth soul. You will be sorely missed. Rest in Power, Legend.
Good music never dies. The legend was just about 23years old when he released this timeless, classic hit in 2000 and continued dishing out good music till he passed. Life is transient, it's good to SET FORTH AT DAWN, contribute positively to humanity and be good to your fellow man because tomorrow isn't guaranteed.
Those days songs had meanings and messages, songs were like prophecies and inspirational vibes to the soul. But nowadays, you hardly find any meaningful songs. Instead makes the heart of the young mind more polluted, carried away and evil. RIP Sound Sultan, you will be missed!
@@martinschinedu3173 none of those kids are up to 10 and this was 13 years ago...so will a man of 23 be married now..I was older than them then and I am not up to 30 or married

Feel like crying 😭 after playing this song. Makes me realized that we have really lost someone great in our midst. It is really true when they say; you don't know what you have until you loose it RIP legend 😭. May your soul continue to rest well.
This kind of song deserves to be watched even in year 2200. Nigeria's sorry state is summarised with this song. To think songs like this one, Idris Abdulkareem 'Jaga Jaga' etc. are almost 20 years old, yet documented Nigeria's problems as if they were yesterday, simply shows something is deeply wrong with the Nigerian state: citizens and leaders alike. Sound Sultan, ure a legend.
Watching this video with tears in my eyes. I was so small when this song was release. I started understanding as I grow. It's really an evergreen song. Your legacy lives on Sound Sultan. May your should rest in peace legend.😭😭
