    Waiting for the next videos :). Here are some topics that might be of interest:
    - UX writing course and bootcamps.
    - How to do a case study and how to create a portfolio.
    - Deliverables for the UX writer
    - A day in the life ...
    - From tech writer/copywriter to UX writer and then to UX designer( is there such a career path?)
    Thank you and good luck.

    Thanks for putting together all of this information and starting this channel. This is really invaluable for where I am. I'm currently teaching undergrad English courses and am considering shifting my career to UX writing. I recently realized that I am extremely motivated in design and thought that UX writing would make for an interesting blend of my design and language interests.

      That's exactly what I love about UX writing! You get to be a part of the product design process, but specialized in designing with words. Let me know what you think of the books.

    Hey, thanks for the wonderful recommendations, it will help a lot. I am a content writer with three years of experience and currently working as a content reviewer. I am very much interested in becoming a UX writer, no matter if i have to start from zero. The only thing I am concerned about
    that I never tried copywriting, was more into writing long pieces. I want to know if I am eligible for UX writing and i am not a grammer Nazi. UX writing seems like an interesting field to me and I feel I can do it because this is not marketing, it's more like improving customer's experience and offering them solutions whenever they face any issues while using an app or website. Yes it's interesting and I want to try it but the question is can I do it? Or I am eligible.

    • @UXHeWrote
      @UXHeWrote  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Check out my video on How to Get Into UX Writing. You seem to have grasped the essence that it's not marketing, it's more about helping the user, so I think you've starting in a good place. Having experience in content can help, but it can also be a double-edge sword. Check out the video to see why, haha!

    Have you read 'Writing for designers' by Scott Kubie? If yes, what is your opinion?

    • @UXHeWrote
      @UXHeWrote  ปีที่แล้ว

      I did a while ago. I think it's more oriented to non-UX writers if I remember correctly? Teaching people the 4 steps of a the writing process.

    I am a copywriter transitioning to UX writing. This video came just at the right time for me, thank you. Do you feel a UX writer could benefit from taking a UX design Bootcamp/course, or is this overkill?

    • @UXHeWrote
      @UXHeWrote  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Seems like this is a popular question. Someone on my "How to Get Into UX Writing" video asked the same question, so if you're interested, check out the comments section for that video too.
      But the short answer is I think it's overkill, especially for a UX writer. You could spend that money on UX writing courses and books, and just take a far cheaper UX design course or two if you want to.

    • @UXHeWrote
      @UXHeWrote  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There are lots of books on UX writing and design, so they couldn't all make it into the top 5 I'm afraid 😁
